Spellbinders Wild and Free Tutorial

Hello friends - thanks for stopping by!  I am excited to be sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders today using adorably whimsical Beau-ti-ful Stamp and Die sets from the Love Set Match Collection by Licensed Designer Debi Adams.

'This set includes two etched dies with a coordinating flower center stamp and flower stamp, along with face and two fun phrase stamps. Quirky fun phrases and shapes are all captured into the Love Set Match Collection by Debi Adams...'

1.Stamp the Flower Stamp onto white card stock using Imagine Tuxedo Black Ink.
2. Cut the Flower Stamp and a Flower Centre in Yellow.

3. Cut/emboss Extra Large Hemstitch and Frame using patterned paper.
4. Cut/emboss medium Hemstitch and Frame using white card stock.
5. Stamp the Wild and Free sentiment onto the lower portion of the Hemstitch Rectangle using Tuxedo Black Ink.

6. Colour the Flower Stamp using Chameleon Pens.
7. Pop up onto the medium Hemstitch Rectangle using 3D Foam Squares.
8. Pop up the layered Flower above the sentiment on the Extra Large Hemstitch Rectangle using 3D Foam Squares.
9. Pop up the layers onto a pre-cut white card base using 3D Foam Squares.
10.Wind pink twine around the card front twice - under the flower stamp, securing to the left of the flower with a pink button and a bow.
11. Glue 3 Sequins to the card front
12. Add some white paint splatter.

  1. A very sweet card Linda but don't think I will be buying the flower stamp and die as I feel they have limited application. Am more interested in the hem stitch border but is this suitable for our Australian C6 card? Am thinking of our postage.

    1. Hi Margaret, thank you for your lovely comment - I too am a HUGE fan of the Hemstitch Dies - they are slightly shorter than our C6 but not by much - the largest one measures:
      Extra Large Hemstitch: 3.70 x 5.00 in. 9.4 x 12.7cm
      Extra Large Frame: 4.15 x 5.40 in. 10.5 x 13.7cm
As you can see - only slightly smaller than our C6 - I find it to be a perfect size. Hope that helps! xo
