SSIC Something Real

It has been an exciting week at Stampin' Sisters for Christ - six new Design Team Members - yes our Team has doubled and so has the inspiration.  This weeks challenge is hosted by the lovely Miesje,  who has chosen this scripture:

Whoever says, “I know him”, but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him” But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him. 1 John 2:4-6

Miesje has challenged us to create a card or project that uses something real or natural on it - twine - burlap - shell - sand - etc.

I have created a tag for this divine book my DH picked up at a Garage/ Yard Sale - I have used the Spellbinders Nautical Frame and Accents Shapeabilities® and the Office Supplies Page Maps Shapeabilities®  All Dies have been cut using the Grand Calibur® Machine .

and some Baker's Twine - my natural element for my project.

This card is for the following challenges:
Phindy’s Place - Vintage
Polka Doodles - Distressing
Stamp Man - Favourite Technique - Distressing
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - Anything goes
