Be Grateful

I am having so much fun with the life's messages cling stamp set from Penny Black®, Inc..  I love the versatility of it - it works with so many styles.

The sentiment was stamped onto a image from The Telegram stamp set designed by  NinaB Designs for The Craft's Meow using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Onyx Black.  The sentiment circle has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink in Rose Bud.

A layered butterfly from the Wonderful Wings Spellbinder® Shapeabilities® by Licensed Designer Donna Salazar has been added.  The butterfly has been sprayed using IMAGINECrafts® Fireworks!™ Craft Spray in Angel Pink

Lace, buttons and twine are perfect embellishments for a nostalgic card, these have been layered onto paper embossed using the So Trendy Spellbinder® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  All Die Cutting and embossing has been done using the Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Machine

Birthday Girl

I am back to creating birthday card for children - and reached for this silhouette image

and the gorgeous IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink in Rose Bud.  This has been cut and embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine  and Spellbinders® Labels Thirty and layered onto the Beaded Ovals Nestabilities® using foam tape to add dimension.

The sentiment has been cut and embossed using the Ribbon Banners Spellbinder® Shapeabilities®

Hot Rod

The Cards for Card Design Class are always fun to create, I always try to create one card with technique and layers, a little more complex but fun...

and this is the one we created for last week's class, using the fabulous image from the Penny Black®, Inc. Hot Rod stamp set. How cool is this car - as soon as I saw this set I knew I had to have it and was thrilled to see it arrive - love Happy Mail!

The background paper is retired Stampin' Up! paper and my favourite - worked perfectly with the Spellbinders Paisley  M-Bossabilities™ folder, a little bit of sanding gives it an aged look.  The digi Steam punk frame has been cut and embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine

and the Labels Twenty-Nine  Nestabilities®

I have also used IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Onyx Black,

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink Dew Drop in Dessert Sand and Peanut Brittle.

AIR Tutorial May Number 3

I am back with my third AIR Tutorial for Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko and this time it is with this months challenge - the LUXE Challenge (Memento Luxe™ that is!) - 'anything but paper!'

Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko Supplies:

• IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Morocco Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink
• IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Pistachio Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink

Preferred Promotional Partners:

• GC-001 Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur Cutting Machine
• Penny Black®, Inc. - petal party 

Other:  Want2Scrap - Swirls Finesse bling, glue, Canvas Corp Canvas, acrylic block, Burlap offcut, Bakers Twine, Button, recycled lace

Start by stamping the flower image onto the canvas using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Morocco Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink and the sentiment in IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Pistachio Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink - set aside to dry completely.

Using a clean recycled jar and strong double sided tape attach a wide strip of burlap around the jar, followed by a wide strip of recycled lace.

Attach the stamped Canvas Label to the layered materials using Glue or a Hot Glue Gun, making sure it is centred.  Tie a double length of Bakers Twine to around the jar and across the top of the label - thread through a button and tie in a double bow.  Finish off by adding a large Gem in the centre of the flower and a Want2Scrap© Swirls Flourish across the label - cutting to go either side of the button.

A sentiment from SRM Stickers has been added around the edge of the lid  and some patterned paper to the lid - this has been cut using the Spellbinders  Standard Circles LG Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

There are so many opportunities to upcycle in our homes - especially when we can alter and embellish them using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink.  

NOTE:  Memento Luxe Ink is a Mixed Media ink for use on any porous surface; permanent on fabric when heat set, it is a great ink for paper projects as well as mixed media   It is relatively fast drying for a pigment ink and highly fade resistant
