Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by! It is Friday here in the Nationals Capital and a Public Hoiday - Australia Day - a day when most Australians have a BBQ - hopefully that is what we will be doing - I am also hoping to find time in The Studio to play with some new products - a great way to send the day!! LOL!
I was gifted this gorgeous Sketched Rose Embossing Folder by Kaisercraft and finally managed to run it through the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform using white card stock.
The embossed image has been coloured in using Chameleon Color Tone Pencils - the colours are fabulous and having a deeper colour at the other end of the pencil makes it so easy, I have been asked how different they are from the Prisma Pencils - there is a slight different as these pencils are slightly firmer and that is something you need to take into consideration when using them - I found it took me slightly longer - and I do mean only slightly to blend - but it was due to technique not the pencil themselves.
The edges have been sponged using Imagine Memento ink in Bamboo Leaves and lightly distressed using a pair of scissors, The sentiment has been stamped on using Tuxedo Black ink and the flourish in Bamboo Leaves. Want2Scrap™ White Pearls have been added along the flourish
The embossed card front has been layered into slightly larger pink card stock using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to add dimension. The layered card front has been adhered to a card base that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A Etched Dies.
