Just for You in Pink

Hello friends - welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Welcome to the weekend - I hope you have a good one - in whatever you do! I am working on some projects that I cannot share yet - not for a while infact, but I had to stop by and share a card with you.  I was given these gorgeous images and papers from a friend - they are from a publication and I have to say it was so-o-o quick and easy to put together - simply elegant!

The main image has been popped up onto patterned paper that has it's own pretty floral border using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, followed by the pre-cut pink card base using E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. .The sentiment circle has been popped onto the card front also using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

A border strip from the set has been trimmed and glued above the floral border using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  As you can see - there is lots of dimension but it is still not too bulky for posting - and that is something we need to keep in mind these days.  Finishing off with white pearls from Want2Scrap being adhered to the top of the framed image.

This card is linked to the following challenges:

Lots of Love

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend - it is a cold Sunday night here and I am making the most of it!  I received some exciting Happy Mail through the week - some gorgeous dies from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.

For my card front I have used the negative dies from the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection -Lattice  Once removed from the Die they have been glued onto pink card stock to recreate the lattice effect.  The layered dies have been adhered to slightly larger white card stock and popped up onto a handmade patchwork card front.  Next the card front has been layered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base. A medium Want2Scrap 250 Count Black Pearl has been added to the centre of each flower.

The Dragonfly from the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerber Collection - Lattice has been stamped using black ink onto white card stock and coloured using Chameleon Pens, fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and glued to the card front  with glue on the body only! Liquid Glitter has been added to the wings.

The Penny Black Inc. sentiment has been stamped onto black card stock using Imagine VersaMark  Ink, and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  Next it has been trimmed and glued onto the lower portion of the embossed card front.  A double black and white gingham bow has been glued to the left side of the sentiment.

Best Wishes

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  I am on a run with Kaisercraft at the moment, as I have mentioned on previous posts my inspiration has come from a set of cards that were designed by Alicia McNamara - a Boho set - once I got started I could not stop- it has become addictive LOL!  It is another very quick and easy way to create a pretty card.  I may need an intervention shortly Wink:wink! LOL

The card front has been cut/embossed using leftover pieces of Kaisercraft patterned paper and one of the Spellbinders Matting Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

You can see Alicia's cards HERE -the stripes got me started, especially when it means I can use the front of 6x6 Pads - they are perfect for this.  The patterned strip has been glued to the middle right of the card front and adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

The sentiment Collectible is from the Kaisercraft Golden Grove Collection. It has been layered and popped up onto the left side of the striped paper.  A wooden butterfly has been lightly sponged using Imagine Inks and glued to the right of the Collectible. Yellow/White Twine has been wrapped around the card front twice and secured with a bow.  A Little Birdie Crafts Beaded Bloom has been glued onto the know of the bow with Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - LeCreme trimmed and adhered each side of the flower.

Especially for You

Hello friends - welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Happy Monday to you all, I know a lot of people dread them...but I hope this Monday is a gentle one for you!  I was given these gorgeous images and papers from a friend - they are from a publication and I have to say it was so-o-o quick and easy to put together - I even made a co-ordinating envelope for this one!

The main image has been popped up onto pink and white striped patterned paper, inside one of the borders that was framing the floral image and onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, followed by the pre-cut green card base using E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

A border strip from the set has been trimmed and glued across the lower portion of the floral image, with a sentiment popped up onto a scalloped oval tag using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and adhered across the border strip.  As you can see - there is lots of dimension but it is still not too bulky for posting - and that is something we need to keep in mind these days.  Finishing off with a large white pearl from Want2Scrap being adhered to each corner.

Special Friend

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend - it is a cold Sunday night here and I am making the most of it!  I received some exciting Happy Mail through the week - some gorgeous dies from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.

For my card front I have cut/embossed the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection Set GERBERA RECTANGLE BACKGROUND using Yellow Card stock.  Once removed from the Die I have trimmed around the edges.  Next the beautiful flowers have been coloured using Chameleon Pens and Imagine Memento Ink.    The circles of the flowers have been created using Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Dandelion finishing with a  medium Want2Scrap 250 Count Black Rhinestone in the centre - some has had 3 smaller rhinestones added.

Narrow green gingham ribbon has been wrapped around the card front twice and secured using double sided tape.  The card front has been adhered to a pre-cut slightly larger green card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

The sentiment is from the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection Set GERBERA CIRCLES and has been cut/embossed using yellow card stock and coloured using Imagine Memento Ink in Espresso Truffle. Next it has been glued onto layered circles from the same Die set.  They are popped up onto the layered card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension.

A double narrow gingham bow has been glued onto the left of the sentiment.  Three Dragonflies have been stamped using black ink onto white card stock and coloured using Chameleon Pens, fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and glued to the card front  with glue on the body only!  NOTE:  the smallest Dragonfly has been glued to the knot on the bow.
