Always in my Heart

Hello friends - welcome and thank you for stopping by!  I hope this week is a gentle one for you!  I was given these gorgeous images and papers from a friend - they are from a publication and I have to say it was so-o-o quick and easy to put together.

The main image has been popped up onto a card front that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies and patterned paper and Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, followed by the slightly larger pre-cut green card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

A sentiment popped up below the image using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares. As you can see - there is lots of dimension but it is still not too bulky for posting - and that is something we need to keep in mind these days.  Finishing off with a large white pearl from Want2Scrap being adhered to each corner.

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a card using one of the Spellbinders  Little Loves Collection by Licensed Designer Sharyn Sowell.  Sharyn's Dies are always inspiring - the original being hand cut using scissors - an amazing skill in itself.  Sharyn is a very accomplished artist and you can read a little about her HERE.

Cut/emboss one Baby's Birthday Etched Die using pink card stock. and glue slightly to the left of the card front. Adhere the sentiment using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Double Triangle Fold Card

Hello friends, thank so much for stopping by.  Today I have a Fancy Fold card to share with you - and it is so quick and easy to make - in fact it makes two at the one time - how do you like that!?

The cutting and scoring are easy, one sheet of 21cm x 28cm card stock makes two of these cards,  All you have to do is cut your card stock in half diagonally. This gives you the two card bases.  Fold the left side across so the point meets the right hand side of the card stock, then fold the top over so the point meets the bottom right corner of the card base – this forms the base of your double triangle card Use a Bone Folder for a crisp fold.   Adhere white card stock to the rectangle in the centre using double sided tape.

Cut two pieces of  Little Birdie Crafts co-ordinating patterned paper measuring 10cm x 13.5cm on the diagonal, from the upper right corner to lower left corner. This will also make two cards. Adhere one of the triangles to the lower front of the card stock and the contrasting patterned paper on the other side. I have embossed the green patterned paper using the Spellbinders Flourish Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok - Next it has been lightly sanded  across the embossing.

Adhere a Kaisercraft Collectible along the diagonal edge on the right flap of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. Pop up the die cut frame onto the left side of the card front.  Apply Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares to the right hand side of the floral circle and inside the die-cut frame – check that none can be seen when the card is open.  Add a Little Birdie Crafts white flower and foliage to the frame insert.
For the second card adhere Kaisercraft Collectibles Butterfly onto a Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Circles Etched Dies, followed by a pre-cut mauve scalloped circle onto the right flap of the card front.  Adhere a strip of co-ordinating patterned paper across the lower left hand flap followed by Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders.  Add a stamped sentiment from the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Giving Occasions Stamp and Die Set.

Cherish Everyday

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  My time in The Studio seems to have dwindled lately - we could blame that o the arrival of  gorgeous pug baby and the arrival of some awesome new products - but mainly the pug baby lol - I will post a photo of him at the end of the post - than you will totally understand!

I have a card to share with you using Kaisercraft Collectibles. It is a very quick and easy way to create a pretty card.  The card front has been cut/embossed using leftover pieces of patterned paper and embossed using an older Spellbinders Embossing Folder and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The image has been popped up onto the centre of the card front using using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Little Birdie Craft flowers have been glued to the left of the framed image  die cut leaves from my stash adhered to the top of the flower.  and some lace from my stash added to cover any paper joins that can be seen.

As promised here is a photo of Cooper who is now 10.5 weeks old and as adorable as he looks here. (he is officially no more pets #9 LOL! But we won't go there!?)

Geli Plates and Feathers

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by.  It is Friday evening here Down Under and I am preparing for a Workshop I am running on Sunday - it is always a great feeling to have the kits finished and everything ready to go - especially as I overbooked the Workshop by two and everyone said yes - I am not complaining about everyone coming - but really, how often does that happen! LOL!  It is a great bunch of ladies so will be a lot of fun - in the meantime...

I came across some handmade patterned paper that had been created over 3 years ago - I was using  Geli Plate for the first time and had a lot of fun with it - it is long overdue to be used on a card.  The paper has been trimmed and adhered to a sightly larger cream card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The image  is from Spellbinders by Stephanie Low and has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and colour added using Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves, Tangelo and Teal Zeal, along with Memento Luxe in Rose Bud.  A White Gel Pen has been used to add details to the feather and the spots around it.  The sentiment is from my stash and has been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.
