SSIC LOC Thanking You

It was such a pleasure to see all of the cards for last weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge - thank you so much for your support - we appreciate it and LOVE to see you!   This week has certainly had its challenges for the Design Team with so many things happening in each of our lives

It is such a blessing to be part of a Team that supports one another and shares the load in prayer.  It is a blessing to me personally to be part of this wonderful Design Team and the scripture Miesje has chosen for today's challenge is very timely

 "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever"

Psalm 107:1

Miesje has challenged us to create a card or project that shows your thankfulness to God.   You can read her thoughts here

I have used Layers of Color Flowering Gems art stamp set

and Merci Bouquet art stamp set for the sentiment to create this card.  I have also used my new Spellbinders Nestie - Lacy Circles and am loving it!

'Thank you' is so easily said and so often overlooked.  God has done so much for us and blessed us with so much, it is easy to take it all for granted.  I am reminded of the ten lepers who were healed but only five of them turned back to say thank you!  I was brought up to thank people for the things they do for us and have brought my children up to do the same.  I am often surprised by the lack of this simple phrase among their peers....is it a forgotten thing with this generation - I hope not!

How often does God do things for us and we get so excited about the gift but forget about the GIVER, we are thrilled to see someone healed and are so quick to share the excitement of the healing with those around us and in our excitement forget to thank the Healer.  May our hearts always be quick to thank our God for who He is and His love that endures forever!!  I want to live with an 'attitude of gratitude!!'  Thank you Lord!!!!
