Grungy Monday #1

There is a new challenge in town called Grungy Monday  - it is Tim Holtz inspired, so it's got to be good!!  I was inspired to play along when I saw my friend Gunn's gorgeous grunge tag.  The deadline is Sunday 3 at 8pm so I had to quickly create something!



I used some DCWV DP from the Once Upon a Time series, and lightly sponged it with Vintage Photo Distressing Ink.

Added some torn music from an old hymnal, sponging the edges.


Along with an embossed Reindeer from the Layers of Color Reindeer Waltz art stamp set.


 have made my own version of Tim Holtz Vintage flower, adding some divine vintage bling, also from Gunn - thanks Gunn!!

The leftover torn hymnal has been pleated and added along the lower edge of the tag, with two rows of paper piercing added.  The sentiment is from some stickers from Echo Park.

    Your right, anything Tim Holts inspired has to be good, as you've proved with this project of yours! =)) I had to check out the challenge link, too. Thanks! I'm sure I'll be going there for inspiration often, even if I don't have time to enter.

    I really love this Tim Tag! WOW, all ready for a Christmas gift huh...LOL Love the flower and papers you used. The reindeer is stunning all in designed silver embossing! Rocking!
