LOC FAF Heart Song

It is Faith Art Friday at Layers of Color - the time between each Friday just seems to fly doesn't it!!

As I sat in our garden and was enjoying all that comes with the change of season, I was captivated by the birdsong that was echoing through the garden.  I realised that the birds sing in every season,  although some seasons seem to bring a louder song.  I have never heard a bird coming into the garden and complain - they lift their heads and sing from the heart.

'Sing to the LORD, all the world!

Worship the LORD with joy;

come before him with happy songs!'

'Acknowledge that the LORD is God.

 He made us, and we belong to him;

we are his people, we are his flock.

 Enter the Temple gates with thanksgiving;

 go into its courts with praise.

 Give thanks to him and praise him.'

May our hearts sing with joy, singing a NEW SONG each day !  So often I sing a song of yesterday, I am grateful for yesterdays blessings but want to be sure not to miss those that are for today - I pray our hearts will sing a new song as the Psalmist encourages us, in every circumstance because He is worthy to be praised!
