Carnival

I have a fun card to show you today - who doesn't love a Circus - have great memories of going to the Moscow Circus as a child....it was a rare treat for us, so the memories are sweeter.

I could not go past this amazing image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps Blog - it captures everything about a Circus for me.

I have coloured the image using my Tsukineko Daubers and Tim Holtz Distress inks - I don't really have to add ink to the daubers, I use them so often, they are continually' loaded' with ink....makes colouring like this so easy!

This gorgeous trim was the embellishment I was looking for - thank you to my dear friend Melisa - I am savouring everything she sent me for my birthday back in March - vintage Heaven!!  Thank you Melisa!!

Not much dimension but lots to look at - what do you think?

This card is for the following challenges:
Whimsical Wednesdays - anything goes
Artistic Stampers - Vintage
Emerald Faerie Garden - Green and Gold/Yellow
Paperminutes - Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash - Across the Border (use a border punch or create border detail) - braid
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes
Gingerloft - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by, I always love to see you and appreciate the lovely comments you leave - it is like visits from friends and family. I hope you are having a great day and finding some creative time! God bless you!
