Dear Friend

I am popping in quickly after a Card Design Class to share with you one of the cards we made tonight, but firstly I want to say thank you to all of those left comments on my Blog and on facebook congratulating me on my new role as one of the new Spellbloggers with Spellbinders Paper Arts - I read every comment and appreciate each one - thank you so much!  You can read the post here

I am determined to find different ways to use the Spellbinders Paper Arts Dies and was inspired by a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers by 'Stampfilled Dreams'

I love the idea of using the Spellbinders Labels Seventeen and making it look like a book - how good does that look!

I also used the Spellbinders Ironworks Accents Die, I use the Spellbinders Grand Calibur for all of my Die Cutting.  The background script is from the retired Layers of Color The Love Chapter clear art stamp set and the sentiment from the Layers of Color Sent With Love clear art stamp set.

The butterflies is part of a RAK from my friend Gunn and the flower is a Mulberry Paper Rose

Layering, distressing, sponging, Dies, butterflies, flowers and bling, all come together for a great night of crafting with the 'Girlz' - it is always fun to see the way we can have the same product but add our own 'flavour' - you have to love that!

This card is for the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Chic/Vintage Shabby
Creative Mondays - Things with Wings
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes
Paper Creations Ink - Spring Is in the Air
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Pearls and Swirls
Crafty Emma - Charmed

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!

  1. Absolutely fabulous in every detail. You had made the die look like an open book and the ribbon down the middle a book mark. So creative and beautiful!
