Faith Art Friday - One of a Kind

It is such an honour to be sharing a Faith Art Friday post again - I am excited that Laura has invited me to be part of this wonderful blessing and has been so close to my heart since I first started on this journey with Laura.

I was inspired by this scripture in the wonderful book of Psalms.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!  If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Psalms 139: 14 - 18
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Peter: 2:9
Each one of us is unique, made be the Chief Designer, God Himself - in His image.  I pray that as we continue on this journey of FAITH, we will not conform to the standards and pressures that we are constantly bombarded with in this world, but rather every fibre of our being will be transformed into who He has made us to be, fulfilling our destiny.

  1. You know how dear, blessed (and often very timely!) FAF was to/for me, so I'm sure it will be no surprise that this post is very apropos!

  2. Thank you for sharing your Faith Art Friday, card and scripture. If I'm not careful, I go to people's blogs and start to compare myself to them. I start to wish I had the supplies they had, or their talents... I need to be thankful that God made me unique. I am the only one who can do MariLynn. You are the only one who can do Linda. That is how He planned it. Thanks for the reminder!! I really like how you stamped the butterfly. So different than how I would have done it. I get too carried away coloring mine. I like how the black stands out in a stunning, yet elegant way!

  3. Oh Linda what a blessing to see FAF again and to know Laura is wanting to continue it.
Love your card, and the words accompanying it. I am a bit like MariLynn in that I will compare my work and supplies, so I am thankful to have read her comments too.
    Blessings
