Spellbinders Baby Bunting Tutorial

I am a 'slightly'partial to Baby cards at the moment, well baby anything we have our first grandchild arriving in April and it is never far from my thoughts - I do love the Baby Bunting Dies - my first time using them but definitely not my last - a perfect shape for baby projects - well, any project for that matter!

Other: Pale Green Cardstock; White Cardstock; Photochip; Seam Binding

















1. Fold cardstock in half, score at halfway mark.
2. Cut/emboss card base using Baby Bunting #6 and green cardstock. ( #1 being the smallest)
















3. Cut/emboss one (1) each of Baby Bunting #5 and #3 using Authentique Paper.
4. Lightly sand the embossed edges using a sanding block
5.Layer the larger Baby Bunting onto the card base using double sided tape.
6. Layer small  Baby Bunting onto the card base using 3D Foam Squares as shown above.

















7. Adhere seam binding around the layered base card - as shown in the photo below - secure using liquid glue.
8. Cut one (1) Labels Forty-Two Decorative Elements in white cardstock
9. Layer photochip using 3D Foam Squares onto Labels Forty-Two Die
10. Adhere to layered card base, over the ribbon, using 3D Foam Squares on right side and double sided tape on left
11. Add double Seam Binding bow onto ribbon using liquid glue, followed by a paper rose
12. Finish by adding Finesse Swirls either side o the bow,as shown in the main photo.

  8. I don't remember if I have Congratulated you yet. You are about to embark on a journey like no other! Being a Grandparent is unlike anything I have ever done before! It is a different feeling from seeing your child for the first time. Better and even more wonderous! A grandchild is the best of both worlds. You can love them, snuggle and spoil them and when the diaper is dirty you can hand them off and let someone else deal with that situation and then take them back and get snuggling again! LOL Congratulations to all of you!!

  9. Lovely baby card. That Baby bunting die set is so awesome. I like how you did the tutorial, easy to follow. Congrats on your first grandchild. I just had mine last year in May.
