Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by. I have a card to share using some of the Market Fresh Collection by Debi Adams. We all know 'fresh is best' and these beautiful strawberries and limes look good enough to eat. Speaking of which, we have been busy in the garden, preparing Wicking Beds to plant some produce - we have never done it before and are enjoying learning the process. Now onto the card...
Cut/emboss four (4) Strawberries from the Aren’t You Sweet Etched Dies using red card stock and four (4) strawberry tops using green card stock and the Platinum™ 6 Die Cutting And Embossing Machine . Sponge the strawberry tops with green ink and use a white Gel Pen to embellish the strawberries. Adhere the strawberry tops to the strawberries using liquid glue. Cut/emboss one Lemon, Lemon Half, Large and Small leaves using green card stock and one stem in Kraft card stock.
Cut/emboss one Lemon Slice and one (1) flowers from the Make Mine Lemon Lime Etched Dies in white card stock, use the Lemon Slice Die as a Stencil and sponge the exposed pieces of white card using Bamboo Leaves Ink. Adhere the white Lemon Slice to the Lemon Half using glue and adhere the sponged inserts using glue. Sponge around the edges of the Lemon and the Leaves and Glue the Stem to the back of the Lemon, followed by the leaves to the back of the stem. Adhere the Leaves to the back of the Stem using glue. Glue one Flower to the front of the Leaves and Stem.
Cut/emboss a card front using the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies and white card stock, adhere spotted ribbon around the centre of the Rectangle, securing at the back using strong tape. Layer onto patterned paper, followed by a slightly larger pre-cut white card base,
Arrange and layer the fruit onto the card front, making sure to pop up some of them using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension. Add a computer generated sentiment onto the top right corner of the white card front.

ReplyDeleteThis is realy pretty. I love the design and the lay-out. So glad you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I hope you'll join us again soon. I want to leave you with the inspiration of God's Word in 2 Peter 3:9 which says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Have a blessed week.
