Fluttering By

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by. I am sure I am not alone in the fact that I have 'a lot' of patterned paper - and I use that term loosely - Wink:Wink!! The papers available today are stunning and a feature in themselves and I do love to use them...BUT there is nothing like the feeling of creating your own using stamps and products you have!.

I have randomly stamped one of the roses from the Spellbinders Feather Fireflies Stamp and Die Set from the Spring Love Collection by Stephanie Low onto white card stock.  This has been coloured using Imagine Memento Ink in Summer Sky, Pear Tart and Bamboo Leaves, using a Sponge Dauber.  I have used a background stamp between the roses, this has been stamped using Summer Sky a a little Pear Tart added - again with a Sponge Dauber.
NOTE:  I have used the background stamp without an acrylic stamp simply by holding it with my hand and using a couple of fingers to put pressure on the area I want to stamp with - this can be as big or small as you want it to be.

Next the stamped layer has been cut/embossed using the outline frame only from the Card Creator Floral Panel Card Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell and the Platinum Die Cutting MachineThis has been popped up onto a slightly larger blue card base with rounded corners using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares

The butterfly has been created by cut/emboss the Butterfly Body using black card stock and the Shapeabilities Layered Monarch Etched Dies - Exclusive.  Next cut/emboss Butterfly Wing Layer 2 using  Kaisercraft patterned paper, this is followed by the Butterfly Wing Layer 3 in yellow card stock.  Adhere both Wing layers over the Body Layer using glue. Pop up the butterfly on the lower right portion of the card front, with the wings popped up using using Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L 3D Foam Squares - glue the body portion.  Adhere a stamped sentiment onto the card base next to the butterfly - my sentiment is one of the free gifts from a publication.
