Spellbinders Filigree Poppies Tutorial

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by today!  I am have a tutorial for Spellbinders to share with you today - featuring one of the Poppy dies these dies are ageless and never date, especially when paired with Dies by Becca Feeken and Stacey Caron - what is not to love!? 


'Shapeabilities Poppies Etched Dies is a set of six dies includes a full stem of poppy flowers and leaves with flowers and leaf accent to either add on or layer. A stunning set for your flower die collection.'  - Spellbinders

1. Cut/emboss the Poppies using white card stock and the Platinum 6.
2. Colour the Poppy Flowers using Chameleon Pens while still in the Die.
3. Colour the leaves and add details to the Poppies using Chameleon Pens.


















4. Cut/Emboss one (1) Card Creator A2 Corner Cotillion Etched Dies using the cutting edge and the inner filigree edge and patterned paper.
5. Adhere to the pre-cut card base measuring the same as the card front.
6. Cut/emboss two small corners from the Opulent Flourish Accents using light green card stock.
7. Sponge using Bamboo Leaves to highlight some of the details, glue to the top portion of the card front as shown in the main photo.
8. Cut/emboss one Oval from the A2 Corner Cotillion Etched Dies using white card stock.
9. Sponge inside the cutting edge using Bamboo Leaves ink before removing from the Die.
10. Stamp the second largest image from the Oval Opulence Stamp set using Rhubarb Stalk ink onto the oval.
11. Pop up onto the layered card from using 3D Foam Squares.
12. Pop up the Poppies using 3D Foam Squares that have been trimmed to size.
13. Cut/emboss one Banner from the Opulent Flourish Accents using white card stock.
14. Sponge inside the cutting edge using Bamboo Leaves ink before removing from the Die.
15. Pop up the Banner across the lower portion of the Oval using 3D Foam Squares at each end.
16. Adhere a computer generated sentiment to the centre of the Banner.
17. Adhere bling to the top and bottom of the Oval as shown in the main photo.
