LOC Garden Window

The last few weeks I have been busy creating for a Layers of Color New Release - you can read more details below.  I have been chilling out by doing some layouts - something I seem to have neglected lately.

This photo is one of my favourites and I know my Mum has one similar.  It was taken 15 years ago my DS and I went home to New Zealand for s visit with family - how adorable are these cousins!!

I have added this adorable cat from the Layers of Color Dotted Delights art stamp set - Mum has a much loved cat who used to always be in the background, so this was perfect for this layout.

The butterfly is from the Butterfly Collector art stamp set - coloured with SU Chalks and a Blender Pen, with 3D Kindy Glitz added.  I have also used a Spellbinders Elegant Post designed by the amazingly talented Nina Brackett.  This has been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.

The sentiment is cut using a Sizzix Die, thanks to a friend!

I had to show you a close up of the gorgeous vintage lace - it is so fine and s detailed - I am saving it for layouts and projects that I will keep - can you blame me!?!?

I just had to show you a close of of this adorable photo - it was taken in Nana's conservatory - don't you  just love the innocence and unconditional love of children!!!  Personally I just love the lacy stocking on my nieces 'stocky' little legs and the back of my DS's head - he always had a little blonde tuft of hair that stuck up - way too cute and so many memories....sigh!  LOL!
