SSIC Vintage Thinking of You

It is exciting to be back with the first Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge for 2012 - there have been some changes, some of the Design Team will not be designing each week with us but will be playing along as often as they can - as much as we will miss them, we know that being a Stampin' Sister in Christ has a connection that goes beyond creating - it has eternal value...

This week the scripture is brought to us by the lovely Peggysue who has chosen this scripture

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."  Philippians 2:3-4

Peggysue has challenged us to make a Thinking of You card.  I have decided to use some of the digital images I have printed off from the Free Vintage Digital Stamps Blog - but I am loving this gorgeous vintage image, you can find it here

and have used some divine plated ribbon (cream) from the Craft Queen - I love this stall and loved meeting Nicole at the Canberra Quilt and Craft Fair - I love it when I find something as wonderful as the Craft Queen right here in Australia.

The divine hand crochet flower is from my dear friend Maxine, she is so clever and makes her own lace as well - these I treasure and use them on special items - thank you Maxine!   The  beautiful edge is from the Spellbinders Ironwork Accent designed by Nina Brackett - who, incase you haven't read it yet is having her own label with Spellbinders - how exciting!!

The sentiment is from the Layers of Color Sent with Love clear art stamp set.

This card is for the following challenges:
Catch The Bug - January Anything Goes
Challenge Up Your Life - Bingo* Ribbon, Buttons, DieCuts
Crafty Emma - Anything goes
Crazy 4 Challenges - New Year, use something new (digi and Die)
Fabulous Friday – Cardstock only, no patterned paper
