MMSC81 Christmas Frame/Perfect Shade

Wahoo - it is Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge time and I am ready to go!!  this week I have two cards for you (no surprises there!)   I have used our monthly Sponsor The PaperTemptress on both cards - infact the whole DT has been using them all month - and we are all impressed with them - they are the most divine card stock and such a gorgeous variety!!

My first card with this fabulous sketch of Priscilla's is created using the Layers of Color Poinsettia Frame cling art stamp which is created to use with Spellbinders Labels 16 - you have to love that!

I coloured with SU Chalks and added bling to the centre of each flower - you have to have bling and shimmer for Christmas! The ribbon has been pleated and I have added a button that I have placed a heart brad through - I love that effect - it certainly worked here - in my opinion!  LOL!

I was thrilled to see the sketch as I wanted another opportunity to use this gorgeous Lacy Doily Die Cut - I cut it in half and added it to each side of the panel - easy!

My second card is created using one of 'priscillastyles' images - you can find it here!  I love this tree wouldn't it be amazing all covered with lights for Christmas - we put up our Christmas tree yesterday and it had got me it a Festive Frame of mind!  LOL!

I used my new Spellbinders Fancy Tags to create these corners - I love the decadence of them, especially in the gorgeous gold card stock from The PaperTemptress.

I could not resist the gorgeous corrugated card stock from our The Paper Temptress - who truly lives up to her name!  LOL!

These cards are for the following challenges:

  12. Linda I love that you did pink poinsettia with this one beautiful! And girlfriend your creativity and thinking out of the box just never ends!! You amaze me at the wonderfully original idea's you come up with. If I'm not mistaken, you used the ends of one of the Spellbinders labels on your corners!!! Love it. I would have only thought to use the label die as a label. Thank you so much for helping me see things is a different way!

  16. Linda, you are sooo creative.. Would you look at those corners you made out of fancy tags! Your details on both card are gorgeous. And I am always amazed by your wonderful coloring. Your work is alway an inspiration! Both cards are beautiful!

I can't believe you got your tree up already... and I bet it's gorgeous. My mother always teased me that I was always the last one to put up the tree and the first one to take it down. I count myself lucky if I get my cards out on time. Please don't tell me you have your shopping done already?!

  28. Wow Linda~

Both cards are so fabulous! I have never seen a pink tone poinsettia...but it is Spectacular! I love all of the special details around them...the pleated ribbon, the large "love" bling...you name it.

And, I think Priscilla did a wonderful job designing that tree...so you can do a spetacular job bringing it to life with lots and lots of color. I love this piece a lot!
