One Day...

Hello friends - today I have a card to share with you that features a sentiment I love - it just had to be the focal point - and yes - it is a Stampers Anonymous sentiment! 

The sentiment has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and cut/embossed using Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangle.  The edges of the Hemstitch Rectangle have been sponged around using brown ink. 

The patterned paper on the card front has been embossed using the Embossing Folders Donna Salazar Designs Medallion and sponged using Imagine Delicata ink in Golden Glitz.  The sentiment is offset onto the card base and popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Recycled braid has been adhered below the sentiment using liquid glue and Want2Scrap white pearls added.

Spellbinders - Just a Note

Hello friends! I am back today with a cards created using Spellbinders Dies - no stamping - just dies. I do love stamping on cards, but there are times when Dies do it all.

I have used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Art Deco Astoria Decorative Accent Etched Dies for my centrepiece.  This has been cut/embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and white card stock.  I have used the Die as a stencil, colouring the exposed areas using Imagine Memento ink in Teal Zeal and Tangelo Inks, before removing it from the die.

Then it has been glued onto the Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Nine Etched Die and popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, onto a card front is patterned paper that has been embossed using the Em-bossing Fold'ers Floral 4.25 x 5.5 in Single Sided then lightly sanded with a sanding block before being adhered to the pre-cut card base,

The sentiment is from the Die D-Lites Sentiments 5 Etched Dies and has been cut using white card stock and adhered using liquid glue. Finishing off with a row of lace being added across Labels Thirty Nine and Want2Scrap white pearls added along the lace and to the flower Die Cut.

Spellbinders BIG Birthday

Hello Friends!  Today I am sharing a card created using Spellbinders Happy Birthday Easel Celebrate the Day by Marisa Job - it makes quite a statement don't you think?!?  Not only that - this could be the quickest layered card you are likely to create - now that I have your attention...LOL!

The card front has seen embossed using the Grid Embossing Folder on white card stock.  I have trimmed the Happy Birthday Easel to make it single sided and adhere to the lower portion of the card front using liquid glue.  The 'happy' has been created using stickers from my stash!

The card front has been layered onto a pre-cut card base using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares - and there you have it - it is as easy as that!!

Love you to Bits - Spellbinders 3D Stamps

Hello friends!  It is time for a little Friday Cuteness.  I am loving this gorgeous stamp from the  Spellbinders - 3D Shading Stamps - and there is such a wonderful collection!

I have stamped the Christmas Kitten Holiday 3D Shading Stamps using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and added some hints of colour using Chameleon Pens,

It has to be said - how cute are those footprints created using a stencil I came across from negative die cuts - they have also been coloured using Imagine Inks.

The layers have been cut using the 5 x 7 Matting Basics A Card Creator Etched Dies and popped up with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares,

Twine has been wrapped around 2 layers and threaded through a button - secured with a bow and a little bit of liquid glue underneath,  The sentiment is from Flourishes,lc.

Penny Black Scented Message in Pink

Hello friends! I am sharing a floral card today - I am a little partial to floral images - especially when using Penny Black Inc. stamps.

The scented message image has been stamped using Imagine Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured using Chameleon Pens.

This has then been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and popped up onto patterned paper that has been embossed using the 

Em-bossing Fold'ers Floral, that has been lightly sanded using a sanding block.  A separate strip using the Paisley Embossing Folder has been adhered across the Floral layer.  A Strip of floral lace has been adhered below the stamped image and Want2Scrap 72 Count -  White Pearls  added to each flower centre.  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares have been used for popping up layers.

Spellbinders Emmeline Treillage Tutorial

Hello friends! It is always an honour to share a tutorial for Spellbinders - their inspirational Dies are beautiful to create with and always give a professional look to your cards.  They certainly take the hard work out of card making - as you will see in my tutorial.

Today I am sharing a very quick and easy card - it is so pretty with the gorgeous Card Creator Die by Becca Feeken.  One of the fabulous things about these Dies is it has a filigree insert and a cutting edge - that can be used together or by it self,  I have used the cutting edge ti create a pretty card base as well - you can see how I have done that by following along with me to the end of the tutorial.

1. Cut/emboss one Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken using the Platinum 6 and Anna Griffin Inc. paper.

2. Remove the excess pieces using the Tool N One.

3. Cut/emboss two Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies using the cutting edge only and white card stock.

4. Score one Emmeline Treillage Etched Die at 1.5 cm .

5. Fold forward and add double sided tape.

6. Attach the second Emmeline Treillage Etched Die making sure the edges line up - to form card base.

7. Adhere a strip of Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L Adhesive Sheet (approx 5cm) across the centre of the card front and inside front. 

8. Centre lace over the front Adhesive Panel, then around the back of the card front - securing the ends using String red tape.

9. Pop up the Anna Griffin Inc. embellishment using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to the lower portion of the card.

10. Trim Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse in white to the desired size, adhere either side of the popped up sentiment.

I told you it was easy didn't I!

Want2Scrap Cherish the Little Things Scrapbooking Overlay

Hello friends I am excited to be sharing a layout on the Want2Scrap Blog- created using one of the 12x12 Overlays - It makes scrapbooking easy - and I love that - definitely a great way to find your starting place...and there is never a shortage of subjects with my adorable Grandson - totally unbiased Nana here! Wink:wink!

I am working on an Album of the first year of my Grandson's life - as a gift for his parents - is this the time to add that he is now 2!?! Shhhh!!  I love these photos of Noah and his Mum - they really suit the title!

Flourishes.lc - Bunny Babies

Hello friends,  it is Monday evening here and going to be a cool night - I hope my friends in the Southern Hemisphere keep warm and those in the Northern try and keep cool!!  I love working in The Studio in the mornings when the sun is streaming through the window - but I can see the frost outside - it is so pretty! 

Today I have an adorable card to share with you today using the  Flourishes,lc 

 Easter Bunnies stamp set.  

The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares onto the Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rose Etched Dies.  The Die has been used as a stencil, the inside of the die has been sponged using Imagine Delicata ink in Golden Glitz and a sponge dauber.  

The patterned paper using Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken. Lightly sand around the edges with a sanding block.  Pop the card front onto a pre-cut card base using 3D Foam Squares.  

. 

A double seam Binding bow has been adhered to the lower edge of the die cut finishing with a handmade embellishment glued onto the bow centre. The layers have been popped up onto a pre-cut white card base.  Want2Scrap 72 Count -  White Pearls  have been added to each corner.
