Hi there everyone -I was talking with my DH about masculine cards and he told me that men like - so I went into The Studio and got out some images I had saved from TYPO - their shopping bags are fabulous and I love reusing them - especially for masculine cards - this one makes me laugh....I might add at this point - I have quite a number of these bags and look forward to using the images in different ways - they are very kool! ;)
The embossed background has been created using Spellbinders Embossing Folders Tammy Tutterow Designs Picnic. I do love this Folder and the texture it gives - I have sanded the embossed areas and then sponged using brown ink for a mire aged/rustic look. The card front has been popped up onto a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
The image has been coloured using Chameleon Pens. I have used a White Gel Pen on the Skeleton and Kindy Glitz/liquid glitter onto the cobweb. This has been matted onto back card stock and popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a Hot Off the Press Stamp set and the other sentiment is from Stampers Anonymous,,,this too have been matted onto black card stock and adhered to the base of the image also using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares. The recycled Corrugated cardboard has been adhered using liquid glue and sponged with Imagine Delicata ink in Silver.
