Spellbinders Moroccan Cut N Emboss Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial to share for Spellbinders using one of the fabulous new Cut and Emboss Folders - they are so elegant and so easy to use.  The possibilities really are endless and as always, there is not right or wrong.  I hope you are inspired by the way I have used the Moroccan View Cut and Emboss Folder


'Moroccan View Cut and Emboss Folder is an embossing folder with etched dies embedded inside to cut and emboss in one pass. Everything is done for you! Fits an A2-sized (4.25 x 5.5 in.) card front. 
The sandwich to use with the Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting Machine from bottom to top is: Platform Plate, Cut and Emboss Folder with card stock inside and one Cutting Plate' - Spellbinders


1.Cut/emboss the Flower Garden Cut and Emboss Folder using white card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6"
2.The card front has been adhered onto slightly larger aqua card stock and popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
3. A 1cm strip of patterned paper has been adhered to the centre of the card front using double sided tape.

4. Cut/emboss the four (4)largest flowers from the Cinch and Go V Etched Dies using aqua card stock
5. Lightly sand each flower and share using the Stylus.
6. Layer the petals, starting with the largest at the back to smallest, offsetting each layer of petals, secure using a small heart brad.
7. Glue the completed flower onto the left side of the strip of patterned paper.
8. Pop up a die cut sentiment across the strip of patterned paper using trimmed 3D Foam Squares.
9. Adhere White Pearls to the card front.

Spellbinders Handmade - One of a Kind Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using some of the stamp and Die sets by Licensed Designer Stephanie Low.  I do love her style and I have to be honest and say - although this card has a lot of  details, it is quite a quick card to create - the co-ordinating stamp and Die sets make it so easy - as you will see as you follow along with the tutorial

2.  Adhere the layered card front to the pre-cut card base using Crafty Foam Tape.
3. Trim the Chipboard, colour using a Green Marker and adhere to the bottom left corner of the card front.

4. Stamp both the One of a Kind using Black Ink.
5. Cut/emboss the image using the co-ordinating Dies.
6. Colour using Chameleon Color Tone Pens.
7. Pop up the One of a Kind image onto the left of the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
8. Stamp the flowers and sentiment from the Bloom Where You Are Planted Stamp and Die Set using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. 
9. Cut/emboss using the co-ordinating dies from the Bloom Where You Are Planted Stamp and Die Set and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine. 
10. Adhere the flowers below the image using small white 3D Foam Squares on the middle flower and double sided tape on the flowers either side.
11. Adhere to a  pre-cut slightly larger Kraft card front using Crafty Foam tape.

12. Stamp the sentiment from the Handcrafted Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set using black ink.
13. Cut/emboss the sentiment the co-ordinating Dies.
14. Colour using Chameleon Color Tone Pens.
15.Pop up onto the right hand corner of the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
16. Complete the sentiment using Alphas and stickers.

Spellbinders Baby Step Block Card Tutorial

 Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by.  I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using the Baby Step Block Card Die by Marisa Job.  I am so delighted how it all came together so easily.  Baby cards seem to be one of the cards that people keep - they are a gift in themselves and are often a keepsake that becomes a treasure.  We are at that stage in life that it is our kids friends having the babies, or our friends kids - either way it is wonderful and a great reason to make cards.  I am very excited about sharing this tutorial with you.




1. Cut two Step Card Bases using thick patterned paper.
2. Adhere the back and front together using double sided tape, start by overlapping the two base pieces.
3. Fold each step on the score line, overlapping and securing with strong tape - this forms the card base.

4. Cut/emboss nine (9) Squares using co-ordinating paper.
5. Adhere one to each of the six (6) squares on the card front and on each of the three (3)steps.
6. Cut one each of the duckie, 'all in one' suit and 'GIRL' using cream card stock
7. Use the pink negative die from the Layered Bundle of Joy Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes footprints and cut using second smallest die from the Standard Circles Small.
8. Cut one yellow circle using the third die from the Standard Circles Small,followed by one white circle using the fourth smallest die.
9. Layer the die cuts, gluing together.
10. Colour the embellishments as desired and pop up the embellishments onto each block using 3D Foam Squares.
11. Glue extra flowers and butterflies as desired.

12. Add embellishments to each step, popping them up with 3D Foam Squares for dimension.
NOTE: This card folds flat for mailing.

Spellbinders Delicate Trendill Border Tutorial

Hello friends - welcome and thanks so much for visiting.  Today I am excited to be sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using Dies from the Amazing Paper Grace® Collection, including the newly released - Vintage Treasures CollectionHow beautiful are these Dies - and not as hard as they look to assemble - which is great don't you think!  I have combined three different sets of Dies from the Collection to create this elegant Fancy Fold card - as you will see as you follow along.

1. Cut patterned card stock to 13 1/2cms by 27 1/2 cm. Turn over and score at 8cms and 10 1/4cms. 2. Turn around and score the opposite end with the same measurements. 
3. Fold both ends in a valley and Mountain fold to form the card base.


4. Cut two Delicate Trendill Border using both the Insert and Cutting Edge with light pink card stock. 



















5. Cut two of the Cutting Edge only using dark pink card stock. Adhere the Filigree Die onto the dark pink base
6. Cut coordinating pattern paper to 12.75 cm x 7 cm for the three larger panels of the card base.
 7. Adhere using double sided tape. Layer the Filigree Dies onto the patterned paper using 3-D Foam Squares.



















8. Cut/emboss your third-largest die from the Cannetille Rectangles using cream card.
9. Cut/emboss one die using the Filigree Insert and the outside Cutting Edge using dark pink card stock. 
10. Glue the Filigree Die cut onto the base and pop-up on to the middle panel of the card using 3-D foam tape.



















11. Cut/emboss one pink and two white Cinch and Go V flowers.
12. Sponge the white layers using angel pink ink and a sponge dauber. 
13. Layer the flowers, making sure to offset the layers of all dies and secure with a small heart brad. 



















14. Glue the two white flowers onto the Filigree Layer as shown in the photo above and pop-up the pink flower on a 3-D Foam Square in between the other flowers. 
15. Cut/emboss two sets of Leaves using green patterned paper, arrange and adhere around the top and bottom flowers.
16. Stamp the sentiment from the Graceful Tiny Tags on cream paper using black ink.
17. Cut/emboss using a co-ordinating die. Sponge using angel pink ink on the inside of the cutting-edge before removing from the die.
18. Pop up to the right of the pink flower using 3-D foam squares.
19. Adhere alternating size white pearls around the filigree die cut and along the Delicate Trendill Borders.

Spellbinders Lets All Party Tutorial

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by.  I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using one of the gorgeous Silhouette Dies by Licensed Designer Sharyn Sowell.  It has to be asked  - 
What makes you happy? Everyday moments and special occasion are brought together through this Happy Collection by Sharyn Sowell in her beautiful signature silhouette designs.


'Shapeabilities Let's All Party! Etched Dies Happy by Sharyn Sowell is a set of seven dies includes five woodland animals with party hats, a cake with candles and a tree with a bird perched on it. This set creates a unique party guests to celebrate with! Spellbinders Shapeabilities cut, deboss, emboss and stencil with a single etched die template.' - Spellbinders























1. Cut and emboss the tree using white card.
2. Colour the tree using chameleon pens.


3.Adhere A 6 x 4” sheet of craft foam two white card,
4. Cut the bear, the deer, dog, rabbit, bird and the cake from the white card stock with the foam backing.
5. Remove the die cut figures from the foam backed sheet using The Tool N One where needed.
6. Colour die cuts using chameleon pens and added shading as desired.



















7. Cut and emboss the pattern paper using the cutting edge only from the Emmeline Treillage etched Dies.
8. Add more depth to the colour using Radiant Neon inks and a sponge dauber.
9. Add white paint splatter onto the sky portion of the card front - and allow to dry.
10.Pop up onto a white card base the same size as the card front, with rounded corners; using 3D Foam Squares.
11. Glue the coloured tree onto the right side of the card front.
12.Arrange the animals to create a scene. Peel off the backing paper and secure onto the card front.

Spellbinders Coffee Time Tutorial

Hello friends - welcome and thanks so much for visiting.  Today I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using Dies from the  a number of dies, showing how easily they all work together.


  I have used the Dies for Die Cutting and also for embossing only - did you know you could do that?  I love that Spellbinders dies are so versatile - as you will see as you follow along.


1.Cut/emboss all of the dies from the Coffee Time Etched Dies using white card stock and the Platinum Machine.
2. Use the Die as a Stencil and sponge the inside edges using Dessert Sand Ink and a Sponge Dauber.
3.Glue the lid to the cup at the top edge of the cup.

4. Use the Die as a Stencil and sponge the band using Summer Sky Ink and a Sponge Dauber.
5.Glue the band across the centre of the cup.
6. Use the Die as a Stencil and sponge the inside edges of the Heart using Rhubarb Stalk Ink and a Sponge Dauber.
7. Pop up the Heart onto the centre of the band using a 3D Foam Square.

8. Cut/emboss the largest Die from the Fancy Edged Circles using blue patterned paper.
9. Turn over the die-cut and place the second and third largest Fancy Edges Dies face down onto the back of the circle and emboss only.
NOTE:  Placing the cutting edges of the dies onto patterned paper and and then onto the tan mat will emboss only.
10. Adhere the do-nut onto the Fancy Edges Circle using liquid glue.
11. Pop up the coffee cup lightly overlapping the do-nut using 3D Foam Squares.
























  • 11. Cut/emboss one Banner using white card stock.  Use the die as a stencil and sponge inside the cutting edges using brown ink.
  • 12. Adhere underneath the Coffee Cup using Double sided tape.
  • 13. Pop up the layered Fancy Edged Circle onto a card front that has been cut/embossed using the largest die from the Scored and Pierced Rectangles.
  • 14.  Pop up the card front onto a slightly larger pre-cut Kraft card case.

  • 15. Layer a computer generated sentiment onto slightly larger black card stock and adhere to the centre of the banner.
    16. Trim a Swirls Finesse and adhere to the top of the coffee cup.
    17. Adhere a torn strip of corrugated card stock below the Fancy Edged Circle.
