Tiny and Sweet

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing an adorable little baby card - how Sweet are those images from Kaisercraft - I could not resist them when I popped into the Outlet a little while ago.

My card base has been created using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies.  Two of the largest size Die has been cut and embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform and white card stock.  Score one Fancy Edged Rectangles at 1.5cm and fold forward. Adhere the second Fancy Edged Rectangles, making sure to line up the sides - this forms the card base.

Cut/emboss some patterned paper using the second Die from the  Fancy Edged Rectangles and adhere to the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner UltraPop up the Postcard layer onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Adhere a strip of white Seam Binding around the layered card front, secure on the front left side, Glue a double Seam Binding bow over the join.

Layer the baby image onto a Nestabilities Open Scallop Edge Circles Etched Dies in white, Adhere to the right side of the Postcard.  Pop up the sentiment onto the smallest die from the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Circles Etched Dies and onto the card front, using double sided tape on the portion that overlaps onto the baby image and 3D Foam Squares on the lower portion - so the sentiment sits evenly on the layered card front.  Adhere one medium and two small silver rhinestones to the top right of the baby image.

Happiest Day of my Life

Hello friends, thanks so much for joining me today. As I have previously mentioned ,I have been sorting through my papers and realised I have a lot of unmade cards sitting in there - LOL.  A lot of companies create Paper Collections with wonderful images like this one below in their papers.  I needed a quick 'not too fussy' card, so reached for my Authentique Paper and Spellbinders  - and this was the result - what do you think?!

The sentiment panel is from Authentique Paper Wishes Collection and has been cut/embossed using the third largest Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" PlatformThis has been popped up onto patterned paper that has been cut/embossed using the second largest die cut from the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles .  The layered sentiment is popped up onto a card front that has also been cut from the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles - this time using the largest die - Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares have been used to pop up the layers.

The layered card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The cupcakes have been fussy cut/hand cut out using scissors from the patterned paper and popped up using 3d Foam Squares.

This card is linked to the following challenges:

Spellbinders Cheers - Wine Country Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial for Spellbinders - sharing a card created using two sets of stamps and Dies from the Wine Country Collection by Licensed Designer Stacey Caron.  I have to say they are a great addition and make fabulous masculine cards as well as many others occasions.

'Wine Country Collection by Stacey Caron will make your projects the toast of any wine tasting, parties or gifts with coordinating motifs to create accents to charms to tags...such great fun!' - Spellbinders

1. Stamp the Cork image onto white card stock using Black Ink.
2. Sponge the image using brown ink and a sponge dauber.
3. Cut/emboss using the co-ordinating die.

4. Cut/emboss the patterned paper using the second largest A-2 Matting Basics A Die.
5. Lightly sand the embossed edges using a Sanding Block.

6. Cut/emboss the Cheers Sentiment 6 times using 3 different shades of cream to brown card stock.
7. Layer one sentiment on top of another Die cut sentiment in a different shade/colour, making sure the top one is slightly to the left to leave a shadow effect.  Repeat this to give you three sentiments.

8. Cut/emboss the Wine Barrel and the Wine Barrel Insert using Mulberry Paper.
9. Cut/emboss one Banner using Cream card stock.
10. Use the Die as a Stencil and sponge using brown ink and a Sponge Dauber.

11. Adhere the Wine Barrel to the top portion of the card front using double sided tape.
12. Pop up the Wine Barrel Insert inside the Wine Barrel Die cut using 3D Foam Squares.
13. Adhere the Banner across the centre of the Wine Barrel using a 3D Foam Squares at each end to keep it level with the Wine Barrel.
14. Adhere a Die Cut sentiment to each side of the Banner.
15. Pop up the Corks along the lower portion of the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
16. Pop up the card front to a slightly larger pre-cut cream card base.
