Get Well

The card I am sharing with you today is created using some of my favourite Spellbinders Paper Arts Dies - the Die D-Lites that are designed by Stacey Caron.

I have used the Spellbinders™ A2 Floral Ribbon Threader  Nestabilities® for my base card, I love the pretty scalloped edges that it gives.  The Medallion Two  Die D-Lites Shapeabilities® has been cut and mounted onto white card to show off the pattern.

The JustRite® Papercraft sentiment has been stamped using Tsukineko Versafine - Onyx Black and cut out using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and Standard Circles SM Spellbinders™ Nestabilities

Seam Binding, a Mulberry Rose and Want2Scrap© pearls.

Peace Love and Happiness

It is a lovely Monday morning here, we are enjoying sunshine after the rain - a banquet for the senses.  I love the smell of the rain, especially when it is followed by the sun glistening on all that is wet.....and butterflies come to visit!

I am using up some kits that were left over from Card Design Class - it certainly makes for quick cards.  For this one I have added one of the divine butterflies from the Spellbinders™ Wonderful Wings Shapeabilities®.  This has been cut out using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine

.

The swirl is from Want2Scrap© and the paper from Canvas Corp, a paper rose has been added to the butterfly, along with some small pearls.  The sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

This card is for the following challenges:

AIR Tutorial - Tahiti

I am using one of the new Tsukineko Kaleidacolor Ink pads for this tutorial, along with Memento Dew Drops in matching shades – Tahiti – don’t you love that name – very summery and exotic

Preferred Promotional Partners:

Other:  Acrylic Block, Glue, Foam Adhesive squares, Corner Rounder, Mulberry Roses, Want2Scrap - Nestabling - Labels Eighteen

Start by stamping two (2) of the Penny Black® Inc. - butterfly symphony with the Tsukineko Kaleidacolor Tahiti Ink

Then cut and stencil one of the butterflies using the Spellbinders™ Labels Eighteen Nestabilities® and the Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur Cutting Machine.   Next using the Die as a Stencil, sponge around the inside of the Die using the Memento - Desert Sand  and the Ink Blushers.

Cut around the second butterfly using scissors and sponge around the edges using  Tsukineko Memento Summer Sky  and Ink BlushersLayer the second butterfly onto the butterfly cut using the Die.  Using glue body attach the and pop the wings up using Foam Adhesive Squares as shown in the photo.

Stamp the Flourish from the Penny Black® Inc. - butterfly symphony stamp set onto white card as shown below, using Memento Bahama BlueNext sponge around the edges using Memento Pear Tart

Emboss using Spellbinders Music M-Bossabilities folder and the Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur Cutting Machine.  Sponge around the edges using Memento Peanut Brittle, it will highlight some of the embossed edges.

Adhere the largest size Want2Scrap - Nestabling to the Die, slipping it under the Butterflies wings.  Pop up the Spellbinders™ Labels Eighteen Nestabilities® on Foam Adhesive Squares near the top of the card.

Cut and emboss one (1) Spellbinders™ Fancy Framed Tags One Shapeabilities® with white cardUsing the Die as a Stencil, sponge around the inside edges using the Memento - Desert Sand  and the Ink Blushers.  Stamp the sentiment from the JustRite® Papercraft on the sponged tag and pop onto the embossed card using Foam Adhesive Squares.

Finish off by adding three Mulberry Roses under the centre of the Spellbinders™ Labels Eighteen Nestabilities®

I hope you are as excited about the new Kaleidacolor Ink Pads; the possibilities are endless, especially used with other Tsukineko inks and products.
