Recycled Wreath Christmas Card

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by! Today's card is a recycled card - a Christmas one as you can see.  I often recycle Christmas cards as they are too pretty to discard - they either become new cards or Christmas tags.  I do keep the handmade ones I receive - they are special and I appreciate the beautiful work and all of the love that has gone into them.

The beautiful wreath was popped up on a card front and so easy to remove. I popped it up onto an embossed card front that has been embossed on white card using the Spellbinders Flourish Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.   Next it has been popped up onto a pre-cut card base using  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

A double bow has been glued to the side of the recycled wreath and a recycled button glued to the centre of the bow with a Want2Scrap 250 Count - White Pearls adhered to the centre of the button.

Textured twine has been tied around the card front and a little added around the button.  Finishing with a computer generated sentiment adhered to the right side of the card - slightly overlapping onto the side of the wreath.

Faith Art - As For Me and my House

Hello friends - I hope you have all had a relaxing weekend - well, at least managed to get an hour or twenty of relaxing and unwinding at some stage.  Monday always comes around so quickly - too quickly really.

I have created a very quick and easy card, using one of the Spellbinders Bible Journaling stamps by Joanne Fink. Joanne loves to draw, letter and write inspiring sayings and this is evident in her Bible Journaling stamps.  The tag line for the Zenspirations® brand is ‘Live by inspiring others to fly’… and that’s exactly what she does.  The stamps are not only perfect for Bible Journaling, but also bookmarks, tags and cards - really there is no limit.

I had a little 'revisit' with the Bible Journaling stamps from Spellbinders - you can see my original post and tutorial HERE I am so impressed how perfect these stamps are for creating inspirational/motivational cards as well - there never seems to be enough stamps for faith based projects!

I have stamped the Birdhouse Stamps Bible Journaling by Joanne Fink using Imagine Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Chameleon Pens.  The sentiment has been sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow and the card front has been randomly stamped using Seth Apter Rain Drops Stamps.  This has been layered onto a pre-cut card base. I have finished off by adding two strips of Washi Tape.

This card is for the following challenges
Addicted to Stamps - Monochrome
Scrappers Delights - Anything Goes
Pile It On Large Sentiment and/or Things with Wings
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
The Corrosive Challenges Always Anything Goes

Not Just Cards - Always Anything Goes
The Crazy Challenge - ANYTHING GOES

I am sharing a card created using one of the new arrival stamp and Die sets from the Cool Vibes Collection by Licensed Designer Stephanie Low.  I just love Stephanie's style - the Cool Vibes Collection by Stephanie Low is a wonderful collaboration of floral and medallion designs with a touch of hip Bohemian style.

Medium Peony Cool Vibes by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set

I have started by stamping the image using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  The image has been coloured using Chameleon Pens and cut/embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.

Next the Peony has been layered onto a white background cut/embossed using the Nestabilities Art Deco Fairmont Labels Etched Dies #  (#1 being the smallest).  The Die has been used as a stencil, sponging inside the Die using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz, before removing the Die. Next it has been popped up onto a card front, also using a slightly larger Nestabilities Art Deco Fairmont Labels Etched Dies and DCWV patterned paper.  The edges have been lightly sanded using a sanding block.  This has been popped up onto a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Want2Scrap 250 Count - Moss Green Pearls - Self Adhesive have been added around the edges of the layers.

SB Don't go Bacon my Heart

Hello friends - thank you for stopping by!  You may or may not be aware that there is a New Arrivals Blog Hop happening over at Spellbinders and so much inspiration shared with the new arrivals - you can still pop over to the Spellbinders Blog and hop along with the bloggers for a chance to win from each blogger and an opportunity to win prizes from Spellbinders - it all starts HERE

I have to say - I love the name of this set - The Breakfast Club Stamp & Die Set by Debi Adams - anyone else remember that iconic movie - still a favourite at our house.

I have started by stamping the yolk onto yellow card stock, then die cut it along with the egg white, toast and bacon using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  Details have been added using Chameleon Pens and Imagine ink with a blending tool.
NOTE: If you use thick poly foam for the toast, it will give the appearance of toast. Sponge around the edges with brown ink. Also, use a white gel/paint pen to add details to the bacon.

The layered bacon, egg and toast have been popped up onto a Negative Die from the Shapeabilities Seth Apter Robo Square Etched Dies, this has been layered onto kraft card stock and trimmed to size.

Quick Quotes patterned paper has been embossed using the Em-bossing Fold'ers Grid 4.25 x 5.5 in Single Sided and  lightly sanded, next it has been  adhered to a slightly larger pre-cut card base.  The layered image has been popped up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment has been coloured using  Chameleon Pens and the heart has been coated using Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Shimmer.

This card is for the following challenges:
A Snowflakes Promise - Anything Goes
Everybody-Art-Challenge - Anything Goes

Listen Honey

Hello friends, thanks for dropping in today.  I have been playing with the Chameleon Pencils - my first time using them and this card is the result - the lovely Emerson Quillan lady.  I do have to say I love using anything Chameleon and these pencils are fabulous - you can check them out HERE!

The card front has been cut/embossed along the lower portion using the Spellbinders Graceful Damask Card Creator Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken Etched Dies and patterned paper from Quick Quotes - Farmhouse Collection I believe - with a contrasting strip of patterned paper along the top of the Die Cut edge.  This has been layered onto blue card stock cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies.  This has been popped up onto a precut a card front cut with the next size die using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  3D Foam Squares.

As I have mentioned the Emerson Quillan image has been coloured using the Chameleon Color Tone Pencils.  I have to say they are wonderful to use and it is definitely easy to get smooth blends using the double ended Pencils. You can see a video on how to blend using these Pencils HERE.

It has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies and lightly sponged  around the edges using Imagine Memento Ink in Danube Blue.  Next the Die Cut image is popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  3D Foam Squares.

The flower is from the Spellbinders Earth Laughs Stamp and Die Set from the Spring Love Collection by Stephanie Low and coloured using the Chameleon Color Tone PencilsThis has been cut and popped up onto the left hand corner of the image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  3D Foam Squares.

A pink Seam Binding bow has been glued to the left side of the image and Want2Scrap pink pearls added to the filigree border.  Finishing off with a Banner from the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies that has been cut/embossed and the die used as stencil, sponging it with Imagine Memento Luxe Rosebud Ink before removing from the Die.  This has been adhered across the top left corner of the die cut image and card front.
