Love You Beary Much

Hello friends - thanks for stopping by today.  It is Monday here an although 30C degrees we have been having the odd thunderstorm - love it and the much needed rain it usually brings - especially after yesterdays high temperature of 40C degrees.  But a nice excuse to be in The Studio with the fan on and tuning out.

Today's card has been created used a recycled image - I believe it came from some wrapping baby - this little dear was too adorable not to have a new lease on life!  The bear has been adhere to some recycled cardboard and and fussy cut/ hand cut using scissors.

It has been popped up onto a cut/embossed Nestabilities Oval Bliss Etched Dies using cream card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

A flower from the Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers Etched Dies has had  the centre sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Tangerine and is adhered onto some leaves created from using a flower from the Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettia Etched Dies, it has been cut in half to create smaller leaves.  A Want2Scrap Pearl Brad has been added to the centre of the flower.  A handmade butterfly embellishment has been coloured using Chameleon Pens and glued to the top of the Oval Bliss Die.

The card front has been embossed using the Wedding Ring Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok and been lightly sanded and popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut card base.  Want2Scrap Baby Bling - Le Creme Pearls - have been added to the corners.

Faith Art - As For Me and my House

Hello friends - I hope you have all had a relaxing weekend - well, at least managed to get an hour or twenty of relaxing and unwinding at some stage.  Monday always comes around so quickly - too quickly really.

I have created a very quick and easy card, using one of the Spellbinders Bible Journaling stamps by Joanne Fink. Joanne loves to draw, letter and write inspiring sayings and this is evident in her Bible Journaling stamps.  The tag line for the Zenspirations® brand is ‘Live by inspiring others to fly’… and that’s exactly what she does.  The stamps are not only perfect for Bible Journaling, but also bookmarks, tags and cards - really there is no limit.

I had a little 'revisit' with the Bible Journaling stamps from Spellbinders - you can see my original post and tutorial HERE I am so impressed how perfect these stamps are for creating inspirational/motivational cards as well - there never seems to be enough stamps for faith based projects!

I have stamped the Birdhouse Stamps Bible Journaling by Joanne Fink using Imagine Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Chameleon Pens.  The sentiment has been sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow and the card front has been randomly stamped using Seth Apter Rain Drops Stamps.  This has been layered onto a pre-cut card base. I have finished off by adding two strips of Washi Tape.

This card is for the following challenges
Addicted to Stamps - Monochrome
Scrappers Delights - Anything Goes
Pile It On Large Sentiment and/or Things with Wings

Stamp one butterfly from the Penny Black Inc. Social Butterfly stamp set using Imagine Versafine Ink in Vintage Sepia and coloured using Memento ink in Teal Zeal and has been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Hello friends, I have enjoyed a very quiet Saturday, resting (well trying to rest wink:wink) as I try and recouperate from the flu that has been going around. I am sharing a card created using Graphic 45 Couture Collection - I have had this image sitting in my stash, along with quite a few others from this  for quite some time but now is the time to get it 'happening!'

The image has been layered onto slightly larger black matting and popped up at an angle onto the card front also using Crafty Foam Tape. Co-ordinating Chipboard embellishments have been added.

Co-ordinating Chipboard embellishments have also been added to the top of the card front.  The sentiment has been cut from the patterned paper and trimmed, a dve tail cut at the right end and layered onto slightly larger black card stock.  This has been popped up across the image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam Tape.

Deer Oh Deer

Hello Blog Friends - it is nice to be able to sit at my desk for a little while this morning - my back is on the mend, not as quickly as I would like but slowly is better then nothing.

Today I am sharing a pair of cards I created for the first birthday of some very special twins in our family - these girls have been fostered by our nephews and are not only gorgeous but very loved and blessed to have a large family that adores them.

I have used the Deer Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® Die D-Lites™ and love how it can be used to create original little deer - depending on cardstock and the embellishing that is done.

The first deer has been adhered to white cardstock that has been embossed only using the Elegant Ovals Nestabilities® and sponged using Imagine Crafts Featuring Tsukineko Radiant Neon ink in Electric Purple.  The card base has been cut/embossed using A2 Curved Matting Basics B Nestabilities® Card Creator Dies - I love this shape card!  The sentiment on both cards us stamped using  Imagine Crafts Featuring Tsukineko  Memento in Tuxedo Black.

The second card has been cut using the A2 Valiant Honor Nestabilities® Card Creator Dies and Authentique Paper.

I have used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares for dimension ,and E-Z Runner on this card, the bling is from Want2Scrap©.  All Dies have been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

These cards are linked to the following challenges:
Cards in Envy - Card for a Child
Craft-Dee BowZ - Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow

Deepest Sympathy

Hello - I am back with another card to share, created using some of the hand designed paper from my dear friend and artist Laura Kirste.

The paper is created using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Inks.  The images are retired stamps also designed by Laura Kirste.

The sentiment has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink full ink pad in Onyx Black and layered into the Gold Majesty Circles Spellbinders® Imperial Gold die templates #4 - remembering Spellbinders number their Dies from the smallest to the largest - the smallest being #1.

My flower has been cut from some lace remnants I have been given and a paper rose has been added to the center.

Lots of details but not too bulky for posting.

This card is for the following challenges:
