Free Florals

Hello friends - welcome and thank you for stopping by!  I hope you are having a good week so far!  I was given these gorgeous images and papers in a kit quite a few years ago and came across them recently and decided it was better to create cards with them than let them stay in the same place for another few years!! I have to say it was so-o-o quick and easy to put together - simply elegant!

The main images have been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles SM Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and popped up onto co-ordinating patterned paper  using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, followed by the pre-cut white card base using E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. .The sentiment has been fussy cut (hand cut using scissors) and popped onto the card front also using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

As you can see - there is lots of dimension but it is still not too bulky for posting - and that is something we need to keep in mind these days.  The small butterflies have been glued onto the card front and small LeCreme pearls from Want2Scrap being adhered to the body of the butterflies.

These cards are linked to the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes w/Optional Twist: Spotlight Technique

Butterflies and Roses

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  Once again I have been having fun in The Studio with Kaisercraft Collectibles.  They are a very quick and easy way to create a pretty card.

The card front has been cut/embossed using leftover pieces of patterned paper and one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut Kraft card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The stripes got me started, especially when it means I can use the front of 6"x6" Pads - they are perfect for this - this strip is 9cm long and adhered to the centre of cards on the right-hand side. using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.  A strip of Washi Tape has been adhered below the striped panel.

A butterfly from Penny Black Inc has been stamped using Imagine Versafine Ink in Vintage Sepia, then coloured using sponged daubers; this has been glued to the left of the striped panel. The Kaisercraft sentiment has been popped up below the butterfly.  A row of braid has been added above the sentiment and been glued across the striped panels and a row of fabric flowers added below.

Orange Rhinestones from Want2Scrap have been adhered to each corner.  It is very easy to create a card in this style - so eclectic - I love that!

This card is linked to the following challenges:

A border strip from the set has been trimmed and glued to the top of the card front to match the lower panel using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  As you can see - there is lots of dimension but it is still not too bulky for posting - and that is something we need to keep in mind these days.  The small flowers and butterfly are from Little Birdie Crafts, finishing off with small pink rhinestones from Want2Scrap being adhered to the top of the framed image and sequins glued randomly to the card front.

Birthday Roses in Pink

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a Twist and Pop Up card using Karen Burniston Pop Up and Twist Dies along with patterned papers from publications.  The papers are such a pretty selection and I have tried to use every piece of them.

The card front has been created using two different papers and a strip of contrasting patterned paper across where the papers join.  Next it has been cut/embossed using one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The sentiment label is from Little Birdie Crafts and the Beautiful Border Swirls and pink pearls are from Want2Scrap.

The Pop up sentiment is such a lovely surprise when the card is opened. The largest Kathryn Labels have been layered with the third smallest Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies.  The sentiment is from a Penny Black Inc clear stamp set and has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  I have used the Karen Burniston Katherine Label Pop Up for the inside Pop Up and Twist Mechanism.  The embellished sentiment on the card front and the  flowers are from Little Birdie Crafts and the beautiful pink pearls are from Want2Scrap

You can find Karen's Video Tutorial HERE - it is so easy to follow.
