Bunches of Birthday Wishes

Hello friends, I hope you have had a good day - it is Monday evening here Down Under and I have had a little time to play in The Studio.  My card today has a little vintage flavour - which is one of my favourites - what about you - what is your favourite style?

I have cut/embossed the patterned paper for the card front using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken.  I have o be honest and say this is one of my favourite dies and have to stop myself using it on every card!  It has been adhered to a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

The digital image, by Laura Kirste Campbell has been coloured using Chameleon Pens, trimmed and had narrow gingham ribbon wound twice around it.  A brad has been added to the centre of the ribbons to secure them.  The image has been layered onto slightly larger rust card stock and popped up onto a pre-cut white frame using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner and layered into a pre-cut white frame using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment has been trimmed, sponged and popped up underneath the ribbon using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Want2Scrap Moss Green Pearls have been added to finish the card.

Graphic 45 For a Sweet Friend

Hello friends, thank you for stopping in. Today's card is very simple to create using a beautiful filigree edged Spellbinders Die set, along with one core die and some Graphic 45 The Secret Garden patterned paper - add to that a bow and some pearls and you have all of the ingredients right there - and it is easy to improvise if you don't have the exact product!

Two Nestabilities Label 58 Decorative Elements Etched Dies #3 (#1 being the smallest) have been cut/embossed using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine  and white card stock.  Score the top of one at 1cm and fold forward.  Add adhesive to the 1cm portion, attach the front being sure to line up the pattern - Making a patterned card base has never been so easy!

Cut/emboss the patterned  image using Nestabilities Labels Fifty Etched Dies, lightly sand around the embossed edge using a Sanding Block.  Pop up onto the Die cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Cut/emboss one Nestabilities Label 58 Decorative Elements Etched Dies #1 (#1 being the smallest) using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine  and white card stock. The Die has been used as a stencil by sponging inside the Die using Imagine Memento ink in Bamboo Leaves before removing from the Die. Line up the sentiment and stamp onto the tag.  Pop the tag up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.   Adhere a double narrow Seam Binding bow to the left of the tag using liquid glue.  Finishing with a  Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - Le Creme, trimmed and adhered from the bow.

Take Delight in the Lord

Hello friends, thank you for dropping in and for the comments you leave - I always love to know you have been.  I thought I would great another quick card using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies as I usually cut a few when I have a die out...makes it very quick if you need a card in a hurry!

The card base has been created using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies #7 (#1 being the smallest) The card front has been cut using light blue card stick using  Labels Thirty-Eight #6 using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine .

The beautiful flower from Flourishes,lc has been coloured using Chameleon Pens and fussy cut/hand cut using scissors.  The wonderful sentiment is from the SpellbindersTake Delight Stamps Bible Journaling by Joanne Fink.  The Bible Journal stamps are also great for card making or scrapbooking - so versatile and uplifting.  The verse has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and lightly sponged using Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow.  The patterned edges have been coloured using Chameleon Pens.

The sentiment image has been adhered the card front using double sided tape, the flowered has been popped up onto the side of the sentiment using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam Squares, with the stems overlapping onto the sentiment image and secured with double sided tape.

From Our House to Yours

Hello friends, it is true we all look at things differently and this is definitely the case with Spellbinders Die - it is called the Haunted Manor - but a saw an adorable little wonky house - what about you?!  It also brings to mind the English show 'To the Manor Born' - did any of you watch that - there are re-runs happening here on one channel and it makes me smile - you have to love Margot and her illusions of grandeur - a bit like this little house!!

The Die D Lites Haunted Manor Holiday 2017 Etched Dies has been cut using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and some striped card stock from Anna Griffin Inc.  Yellow card stock has been adhered behind the windows, with orange behind the wonky balcony.  White Gel Pen has been used around the windows to define them a little more.

The card base has been created using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies #7 (#1 being the smallest) The card front has been cut using light blue card stick using  Labels Thirty-Eight #6.  It has been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves for the grass and Summer Sky for the sky with random white paint splotches added.  This has been popped up onto the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension.

The Manor has been popped up onto the centre of the card front also using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The sentiment has been computer generated and layered into orange card stock, then glued onto the card front.  Such an easy card - and my mind is already ticking over with ideas for this Wonky House!

Chantilly Paper Lace Wedding Card

I was asked to make a Wedding Card by a beautiful 83 year old lady - it was for her granddaughter who was getting married on the weekend.  She wanted it to be special, soft and romantic - because her granddaughter is very special to her and she wanted the card to convey this.

I cut/embossed the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Tallulah Frill Layering Frame Small Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken using soft pink card stock and adhered it to a card base created using the cutting edge of the Card Creator Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken.   Cut two Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace edge Dies, score the top of one at 1cm and fold forward.  Add adhesive to the 1cm portion, attach the front being sure to line up the pattern - Making a patterned card base has never been so easy!

The next layer has been created by cutting embossing the Nestabilities Labels 46 - Decorative Element Etched Dies #2 #3 (#1 being the smallest)  The flowers on the #5 Die have been sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe ink in Rose Bud and a sponge dauber, with a Want2Scrap medium white pearl added to the centre of each flower. Adhere the #5 Die onto the larger die using double sided tape and pop both layers up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

White card stock has been cut/embossed using Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Circles Etched Dies using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and used as a stencil by sponging inside the Die using Imagine Memento Luxe in Rose Bud before removing from the Die and being popped up onto the centre of the layered card front.  A small recycled rose has been adhered to the centre of the Pierced Circle.

The Penny Black Inc. sentiment has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, trimmed with a dove tail added to the right hand end.  The edges have been sponged around using Rose Bud Ink and popped up under the Pierced Circle.  A small pink button been glued onto the left of the sentiment, a Want2Scrap medium White pearl added to the centre of the button and liquid glitter added to the button.  The names have been computer generated and popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Love From Us All - Bugs Included

Hello Friends - thanks so much for dropping by!!  I have a very quick and easy card to share with you today using the Spellbinders Die D-Lites Bugs Etched Dies. How fabulous are these creepy crawlies and so much fun to create with - how could I resist!?

I have to say that my DH is not a fan of cockroaches and was not as thrilled with this card as I am LOL!  My son said it looks like a cross between Christmas and Halloween  LOL!  Regardless of all that I love them and have to say - they are my insects around the card - for staging of course!  Wink:wink!

I have cut/embossed the DCWV patterned paper using the largest Spellbinders A2 Distressed Edges Card Creator Etched Dies using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine  and lightly sanded around the edges using a Sanding Block.

The Bugs have been cut/embossed using the Bugs Etched Dies and four different colour card stock - a great way to use those scraps.  I have set them out and once happy with the layout they have been glued to the card front,  The sentiment has been created using stickers from my stash - Authentique Paper from memory.  This has been layered onto red card stock and adhered using double sided tape.  The card front has been popped up onto the card base using  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares for that little bit of dimension.  I told you it was easy - didn't I!?!
