Darkroom Door - Happy Birthday Wishes

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  You can never have too many birthday cards - I am sure you know that!!  They are the best seller in the shops that sell my cards, so I have been trying to get a few made before the next 'top ups' are due. These ones came together from those things constantly gathering on my desk - my favourite kind of card at times - being limited to what is on the desk stops me over-thinking the process....know what I mean?!?!  The fabulous sentiment is Darkroom Door - Small Stamp - Birthday.

When the Butterfly...

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  Todays card is a quick and easy one using flowers and butterflies- you can't get lovelier than that - in my opinion!

The card front has been created using some left over pieces of patterned paper and pre-cut images from Tim Holtz - they have been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares for the perfect amount of dimension.  This card is still postable at the standard rate - even with the added dimension;something we all take into consideration these days.

The beautiful sentiment has been computer generated and adhered directly onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner. I have finished off with a tiny plastic flower that has been glued to the butterflies body and a Want2Scrap Black Baby Bling adhered to the centre.

Keep Calm

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  I am happy to say after the crazy weather here in Australia we are enjoying a normal day with a perfect temperature of 26 Degrees Celsius . Today I have a fancy fold card to share with you - it has been created from a left over kit I used for a Workshop - I have used it quite a few times but it looks different with the products you use - today's theme is keeping calm! Wink: Wink!

I created the card base by scoring Authentique Paper at 5cm, 5cm, 3cm, 3cm and 2cm to create the different height steps - so easy to do, especially when using a good thick double sided paper.  Fold the card into mountain and valley folds to form the card base

I have stamped the images using Imagine Memento Ink in Espresso Coffee, adding background details in Cocoa ink.  I picked up these stamps when I was in Arizona with Spellbinders; they have been trimmed and adhered to the steps of the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The Coffee Embellishments have been cut from Canvas Corp paper.

The Little Birdie Crafts Flowers have been glued to the card base. Want2Scrap pearls have been added to the lace trim using glue.

This card is linked to the following challenges:

Creating for Charity

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  I have been doing lots of sorting and also prioritising - in amongst all of this I was very challenged by a story I saw and decided I needed to make some cards to donate to a Charity on a regular basis - straight away I know it had to be my local Ronald McDonald House and I am thrilled they are excited about having them regularly.

Needless to say I have a 'Mountain' of bits and pieces on my desk (LOL - my life story) and created 20 cards instantly from them - using card bases made up with papers I had cut - ready for an occasion just like this.  I have used a combination of my favourite products and a lot of those things that I didn't want to throw away but just keep gather - like die cuts I may have done 20 of and only used 10. embossed card fronts left over from kits, home made embellishments that are gathering - I love to fiddle with them every now and then for a change of pace - and I hate to waste pretty things!

It is such a great feeling to make these and donate them - and even better as it is not a one of  -'Chicken Soup for the Soul'!  I have to say that it has not even made a dent in my bits and pieces -but give it time!!   I have more made but am yet to photograph - but will get onto as soon as possible!!

These cards linked to the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes w/Optional Twist: Exploding Boxes/Pop Up Boxes

Floral Pocket Cards

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  Today I have three Pocket Cards to share with you - all variations of a theme - each one being a little different from the other.
'

I have used Authentique Paper that was sitting pre-cut in a box from a Workshop a number of years ago (***head hung in shame***LOL)  I am slowly working my way though bits and pieces and it is a good feeling to see them turned into something special.

The handmade flowers, butterflies and sentiments are Little Birdie Crafts - they have such an amazing assortment of products.

The Scalloped Edge on the Pockets is from Spellbinders.  The tags are decorated luggage tags.  The beautiful Bling is from Want2Scrap.  These are all held together using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L - my all time favourite adhesive.

Dragonfly Smiles

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have had a lovely weekend!  It goes by so fast - faster than any other days of the week don't you think!? Or is it just me?! LOL!

I have used a free gift from a magazine for focal point on this card - such a pretty dragonfly and it comes with a co-ordinating die! I have stamped the image using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black coloured the image using Chameleon Pens and added some shimmer onto the wings using liquid glitter.

Next it has been layered onto to a layered circle using Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles SM Etched Dies  and a die from the Shapeabilities Woodland Wreath Etched DiesThe inside of the Die has been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal.  The dragonflies wings have been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and Want2Scrap Baby Bling Turquoise Rhinestones have been added around the Wreath.  The smile sentiment is from Kaisercraft and the sentiment is computer generated.

The layered circle has been popped up onto a card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares. The  card front has been created using patterned paper from my stash - Authentique Papers I believe and embossed using an older Spellbinders Embossing Folder.  This has been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal.  The card front has been adhered to a slightly larger pre-cut White card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.
