Love You Beary Much

Hello friends - thanks for stopping by today.  It is Monday here an although 30C degrees we have been having the odd thunderstorm - love it and the much needed rain it usually brings - especially after yesterdays high temperature of 40C degrees.  But a nice excuse to be in The Studio with the fan on and tuning out.

Today's card has been created used a recycled image - I believe it came from some wrapping baby - this little dear was too adorable not to have a new lease on life!  The bear has been adhere to some recycled cardboard and and fussy cut/ hand cut using scissors.

It has been popped up onto a cut/embossed Nestabilities Oval Bliss Etched Dies using cream card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

A flower from the Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers Etched Dies has had  the centre sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Tangerine and is adhered onto some leaves created from using a flower from the Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettia Etched Dies, it has been cut in half to create smaller leaves.  A Want2Scrap Pearl Brad has been added to the centre of the flower.  A handmade butterfly embellishment has been coloured using Chameleon Pens and glued to the top of the Oval Bliss Die.

The card front has been embossed using the Wedding Ring Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok and been lightly sanded and popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut card base.  Want2Scrap Baby Bling - Le Creme Pearls - have been added to the corners.

  7. It's a lovey card with the cute bear, but sadly doesn't fit our Stamping Sensations theme which is 'Cold and Frosty colours'.
