Spellbinders Koi Birthday Card

Hello friends - Happy New Year to you - 2018 is here and I wonder what it holds for each of us!! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and for those who dread it for various reasons - I hope you made it though OK!  It is always a blur for me - comes fast and is a distant blur so quickly.  I have to say that having the grandson had certainly added a new dynamic to our Christmas - and it is wonderful - 2 1/2 is such a wonderful age!  It is now the New Year I do have a card to share with you...

I made this card for our DD2's partner - he is an avid fisherman, so the Koi Stamp and Die Set from the Earth Air Water Collection by Stephanie Low is perfect for him.  The weather here is sunny and HOT and would be perfect for fishing, but I think we will all be inside with the cooling on!

The Koi were coloured using Chameleon Pens  and have been cut/embossed using the Koi Stamp and Die Set from the Earth Air Water Collection by Stephanie Low.  These have been popped up into the layered card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The card front and base have been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies #7 (#1 being the smallest) The card front has been cut using light blue card stock using  Labels Thirty-Eight #6.  A computer generated sentiment has been adhered to the top of the Outlaw Die and paint splatters in white randomly added.

This card is linked to the following challenges:
