Spellbinders Poppy Corner Tutorial

Hello friends - Happy New Year - thanks so much for stopping by! I am excited to be sharing my first tutorial for Spellbinders for 2018.  I am using one of the gorgeous Poppy Dies - along with Dies by Licensed Designer Becca Feeken

One of my favourite ways to use Spellbinders dies is to mix and match the various Collections - they all work so well together - don't you agree!?

1. Cut/emboss the Die D-Lites Corner Poppies Etched Dies using white card stock and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.
2. Colour the petals while still in the Die using Chameleon Pens.  Remove from the Die.
3. Colour the leaves and add details using Chameleon Pens.

4. Cut/emboss one Hemstitch Ovals Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken #3 #4 (#1 being the smallest) using cream card stock.
5. Use the Die as a stencil and lightly sponge the inside using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.
6. Stamp the sentiment using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
7. Apply Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Shimmer to the word 'Love' - allow to dry.
8. Cut/emboss one Hemstitch Ovals Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken #4 (#1 being the smallest) using green card stock. Adhere to the back of the co-ordinating cream oval using double sided tape.

9. Cut/emboss one  Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and cream card stock.
10. Use the Die as a stencil and lightly sponge the inside using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.
11. Pop up onto a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Crafty Foam Tape.

12. Pop up the Hemstitch Ovals onto the card front using  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.
13. Adhere the Poppies to opposite corners of the Hemstitch Rectangle using 3D Foam Squares along the edge and double sided tape to the rest of the die cut image.
14. Trim Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse and adhere to the side of each poppy die as shown in the photo.
