A Berry Happy Birthday

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope your week is going smoothly for you - we are in the middle of a heatwave which is not changing any time soon and to add to that Canberra had an earthquake this morning - very rare.  We did not feel it but my DH heard it - thankfully!  Enough of the chatter, I do actually have a card to share with you using a Stamp and Die set from Spellbinders - love these - that little mouse is 'berry cute!' Wink:wink!

Stamp the images from the Spellbinders Mouse Stamp and Die Set from the Earth Air Water Collection by Stephanie Low onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, next colour using Chameleon Pens.  Glue the Little Birdie Crafts flower onto the top of the mouses' head, add a trimmed Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse in Wild Plum.

Cut/emboss two Spellbinders Nestabilities Elegant Ovals Etched Dies  using dark pink card stock and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.   Score the top of one Elegant Oval 1.5cm from the top. Fold forward and add a row of double sided tape.  Adhere the second Elegant Labels onto the scored one, making sure the edges line up to form card base.   Cut/emboss the oval from the Shapeabilities Victoriana Crest Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken using white card stock.  Pop up onto the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Next adhere the coloured berries to the right side of the layered card front using double sided tape. Pop the Mouse up next to the berries using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3 D Foam Squares, along with the single berry.  Trim the sentiment and adhere across the lower portion of the card using double sided tape.  Thread the button using the white twine and glue onto the right side of the oval.

Life is Beautful

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a card that is a little on the 'shabby' side using one of my favourite colours and some of my favourite products.

I have started by cutting out the centre of Kaisercraft patterned paper using the second largest die from the Nestabilities Standard Circles LG Etched Dies, followed by slightly smaller white card stock using the third largest Standard Circles LG. NOTE: make sure to line up the smaller die cut circle by lying the patterned paper on top of the white card stock and place the smaller Die with in - securing with repositional tape.  Remove the patterned paper and run the white card stock though the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

Line up the white layer underneath the patterned paper with the white inner circle showing.Pop up both layers onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares to create an aperture.  Adhere the patterned circle inside the layered die cuts using double sided tape. Pop up the Anna Griffin Inc. sentiment embellishment in the centre of the aperture.

Cut/emboss one Border Frame and Insert from the Card Creator Framed Floral Card Front Celebrate the Day by Marisa Job Etched Dies using co-ordinating patterned paper, glue to the lower portion of the card front.

Fussy cut/hand cut using scissors a flower from the Authentique Paper and pop up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Small White 3D Foam Squares.  Glue a hand made butterfly embellishment to the rim of the circle aperture and add Want2Scrap white pearls along the die cut trim.

Cut emboss two (2) banners from the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies in co-ordinating patterned paper, glue across the top of the card front as shown in the main photo, adding Want2Scrap small white pearls between each pennant.
