Wanted Album - Some Bunny Loves You

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by!  Today I have a little change of pace and am sharing a another page from my Want2Scrap Wanted for Stealing Hearts Chipboard Album with you - a Work in Progress, but getting closer to being finished.  No surprises that it is all about my grandson - one doting Nana here and proud of it! LOL!  

I am so glad that phones have the good cameras on them these days - makes it so easy to catch these moments. Easter last year was the first Easter Noah came to visit, as they had lived with us prior, of course we had to have an Easter Egg Hunt - the eggs were hidden in open spaces to make it easy!  How cute is he with his haircut - and the hands in the pockets - a relatively new thing - I could not resist taking this photo - and of course it had to be scrapbooked.

The photos have been trimmed and layered onto slightly larger teal card stock. The photo on the right has been popped up with a row of Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Craft Foam Tape on both sides and along the bottom of the photo - this has been adhered to the patterned paper to create a pocket for a tag - a great place to add some journaling,  The tag has a metal embellishment in it.  I have also added the top portion of tags above the photos.

I have sponged the Want2Scrap Rabbits Chipboard Embellishment with white ink inks and glued above the photo - the extra details have been added using Chameleon Art Pens and a small pom pom glued to the tail. The body of the Rabbit has been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares - to keep it even with the photo.  I have also used various embellishments that have gathered in stash - they work so well - I love adding little details.

The sentiment has been created using a computer generated portion and finished using stickers. I have used Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra to adhere them. Finishing with Want2Scrap Enamel Dots in Turquoise being randomly added.

Just Awesome

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by!  Today I have a little change of pace and am sharing a page from my Want2Scrap Wanted for Stealing Hearts Chipboard Album with you - a Work in Progress.  It is all about my grandson - one doting Nana here and proud of it! LOL!  

 I am so glad that phones have the good cameras on them these days - makes it so easy to catch these moments.  On a trip to Bunnings, our Grandson Noah fell in love with the cubby house and being me, I could not resist taking this photo - and of course it had to be scrapbooked.

I have trimmed and sponged the Want2Scrap Gear Corners 2 Pack Chipboard Embellishment with metallic inks and glued above the photo.  Heart Circles - Black Rhinestones have been added to two of the cogs.  I have also used various embellishments that have gathered in stash - they work so well - I love adding little details.

The sentiment has been created using a computer generated portion and finished using stickers. I have used Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Dots Permanent , 3D Foam Squares for dimension.

A Little Creative News - Check It Out!!

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I am excited to be FINALLY able to share that I am joining some of the most amazing Artists in the Little Birdie Crafts Design Team - you can read all about it below - direct from the Little Birdie Blog. :D

Hello crafty folks,

We are enthralled to welcome abroad our lovely new Design Team for 2018. We would like to introduce to you 10 extremely talented and passionate crafters from around the globe who are going to inspire everyone with their extraordinary creations. We must admit that it was a herculean task to narrow down the team from the large pool of fabulous applications that we received. Thank you to everyone who sent in their projects and we wish to continue to see your jaw-dropping creations.

This year we have had many interesting developments and have added a whole new range of Mixed Media products, Embellishments, Handmade Flowers, Paper packs and more! Our Design Team members will primarily focus on our New Mixed Media Releases and gorgeous Handmade flowers and we couldn’t be more excited about that! Our team members come from nine different countries with tons of creativity and out-of-the-box ideas. We are looking forward to sharing exquisite tutorials that each one of them will bring to the table over the next six months and hope that you will join us in welcoming them!

Hello, I am Anila Dikay from Mumbai, India. I have worked as an interior designer for many years and then moved on to teach Arts and Crafts at Bombay Cambridge School, Mumbai. Currently, I am a full-time crafter and a homemaker. Among paper crafts, Stamping and Card-making are my strengths. I love working with Little Birdie Craft products and have hands-on experience with many of the products. I am extremely excited about being on the Design Team and create unique and inspiring projects.

Hello! My name is Annie. I live with my husband in the French province of Quebec. Now that the kids are not home, I am having a lot of time to craft. Scrapbooking is not only my passion, for me it is a way of life. I love playing with mediums and add textures to my layout and altered projects. Flowers are my favorite ornaments. Hello, I am Bela Shah and I am into art and craft from the time I was a child. I love creating with oil paints, acrylics, water colors and pencil sketches. I enjoy Calligraphy, Indian folk paintings, Mixed Media Art, Decoupage, Home Décor panels and Altered Art. After I resigned from my corporate job in 2006, I am turned to crafting full-time and have no regrets. My name is Ezmé Hartman. I live in South Africa in the Winelands District on a farm, with my husband and eight cats. I am a multi-facetted crafter who specializes in scrapbook layouts as well as mixed media projects and journals. I tutor crafts and scrapbooking at various shops and clubs. I am delighted to be on Little Birdie Crafts Design Team and looking forward to having an amazing experience.

I am Kathy Clement, and I have loved paper ever since I can remember. While I am primarily a card maker, I also love to create mini albums, canvases, altered art and even scrapbook layouts. My most recent crafting obsession is designing interactive folios. My style is decidedly vintage/shabby chic with lots of layers, embellishments and ribbons to add loads of texture and dimension. I was drawn to Little Birdie Crafts when I saw their gorgeous, realistic flowers and their lovely primed chipboard. I’m very excited to be on the Little Birdie Crafts Design team, and look forward to sharing lots of crafting tips, tricks and techniques with my fellow crafters.

Hello, I am Linda from Down Under (Australia). My love for crafting was since I started knitting at the age of 6.  Hello, I am Ruth aka Nuneka Box, from Spain. I have been crafting for a long time now and it all started with making albums for all my photographs. I am extremely passionate about Mixed Media and Altered Art. And I’m not afraid of trying and experimenting with new things. Want2Scrap Upcycled Boxes

Hello friends - thanks so much for dropping in. I have a new project on the Want2Scrap Blog - an altered project- upcycled, but sadly I forgot to take a photo of the before.  What I can tell you is that it has gone from Pinks and Paris to blues and seaside.  I have used a mixture of Want2Scrap bling, chipboard and trim - I love the way it all works together so well - every time!

Little Chef Album Page

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I am sharing a page from my Want2Scrap Wanted for Stealing Hearts Chipboard Album.  Such a cute album and I am having a lot of fun creating it, adding a little bit of mixed media.

The theme of the Album is my Grandson Noah - these photos were taken on his second birthday - all he wanted was a kitchen and how adorable was he using it.  I have to be honest and say - he is turning 3 next week, so I am not as quick as I would like to be! Wink:wink!

The photos have been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Squares Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  Both photos have been lightly sanded around the edges - such a great effect on a photo and popped up onto the Album page using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  I have added extra details using the Want2Scrap  Chevron - Stencil,  Imagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow and a white Gel Pen, randomly onto the page.

and finished by adhering some of the Want2Scrap Enamel Dots 8mm Stone Size - White.  I love the 'pop' that they can add.  The other products I have used are listed below.

Want2Scrap Faux Stained Glass Card

I am sharing a card using one of the fabulous Nestabling combined with Stencils - what is not to love!!  I love the way Nestabling can be used without the co-ordinating die - making it's own statement!
