Recycled Birds of a Feather

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  It is Saturday evening here and perfect weather to be inside and creating. Today's card has been created using Spellbinders Dies and a recycled image.  I am sure I am not the only one who likes to recycle - some things are just too good to  only use once - definitely the case with these gorgeous birds.

Cut/emboss two (2) Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles Two Etched Dies using white card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.   Score one of the die cuts at 1.5cm and fold forward.  Add double sided tape to the folded forward portion and attach the second die cut to form the card base - making sure to line up the patterned sides.

Emboss patterned paper using the Flourish Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok.  Trim to size and adhere to the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Cut/emboss the largest die from the Shapeabilities Laced with Love Fleur Essence Etched Dies using white card stock. Adhere one third of the way down the card front, upside down adding adhesive at the top and bottom only.

Add a Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Gold Photo Corners to the top two corners of the recycled image.  Pop up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, tucking the end of the image into the lower portion of the die cut.

Stamp the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Graceful Tiny Tag Stamp and Die Set.  Cut/emboss the sentiment using the tag from the Laced with Love Fleur Essence Etched Dies, adhere across the lower portion of the recycled image,  Add Want2Scrap Baby Bling - Turquoise Rhinestones to the die cuts.

A Day to Remember

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by - it is always great to know you have been.  Today I am sharing a card that could be used for many occasions - birthdays, weddings, anniversary's - even a thank you for a special day with someone - only fitting that it should have flowers.

I have used patterned paper from my stash,popping it onto slightly larger white card stock and onto the teal card base.  The card measures 15cm x 10cm.  The Shapeabilities Victorian Medallion One Etched Dies has been cut/embossed using Authentique Papers Patterned paper and has been adhered to the top right corner of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  A tag has been adhered to the right side of the card front - overlapping onto the Medallion.

Next white card stock has been cut/embossed using the Nestabilities Labels 59 Etched Dies Wine Country by Stacey Caron and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  This has been popped up onto the centre of the card front using  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The watering can embellishment is from Anna Griffin Inc. has been popped up into the centre of the Labels 59 using 3D Foam Squares, the sentiment has been adhered above it using E-Z Adhesive Runner.

Want2Scrap 250 Count Moss Pearls - Self Adhesive have been added to the top of the tag and Little Birdie Craft Adonia-Arctic Blue Flowers popped up at the base of the watering can.

Diamond Lace and Golden Roses

Hello friends, thanks so much for dropping in.  Today I am sharing a card created using one of the new Spellbinders Cut and Emboss folders - This one called Diamond Lace Frame Cut and Emboss Folder - I can think of so many occasions it can be used for!

I have run the folder through the Platinum6 using white card stock, trimmed the edges and adhered  it onto gold card stock - I love the way the gold shows up behind the hearts - so pretty.  The layered card front has been popped up onto a white card base.

The beautiful roses are from the Shapeabilities Corner Floral Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell and have been popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Tiny and Sweet

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing an adorable little baby card - how Sweet are those images from Kaisercraft - I could not resist them when I popped into the Outlet a little while ago.  

My card base has been created using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies.  Two of the largest size Die has been cut and embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform and white card stock.  Score one Fancy Edged Rectangles at 1.5cm and fold forward. Adhere the second Fancy Edged Rectangles, making sure to line up the sides - this forms the card base.

Cut/emboss some patterned paper using the second Die from the  Fancy Edged Rectangles and adhere to the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  Pop up the Postcard layer onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Adhere a strip of white Seam Binding around the layered card front, secure on the front left side, Glue a double Seam Binding bow over the join.

Layer the baby image onto a Nestabilities Open Scallop Edge Circles Etched Dies in white, Adhere to the right side of the Postcard.  Pop up the sentiment onto the smallest die from the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Circles Etched Dies and onto the card front, using double sided tape on the portion that overlaps onto the baby image and 3D Foam Squares on the lower portion - so the sentiment sits evenly on the layered card front.  Adhere one medium and two small silver rhinestones to the top right of the baby image.

Spellbinders Happy Birthday with Numbers Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial to share for Spellbinders using some of the new Special Moments Collection by Licensed Designer Marsia Job. In her true style Marisa brings together her signature floral designs and sentiments to help create expression through art.  The possibilities really are endless .

Shapeabilities Happy Birthday w/ Numbers Etched Dies Special Moments Collection by Marisa Job is a set of four dies but it will cut a circled Happy Birthday and Heart sentiment, a circle that nests in the center and 0 to 9 numbers that fit in the center. - Spellbinders

1. Cut/emboss the Happy Birthday Circle along with the inner circle using red card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6".

2. Cut/emboss one Standard Circle LG using the third Largest Die and cream card stock.

3. Cut/emboss one Vintage Stitched Squares using Gold Card stock.

4. Adhere the Vintage Stitched Square to a slightly larger pre-cut card base using double sided tape.

5. Cut/emboss through both the card front and front layer of the card base, using the third largest Standard Circle LG.  NOTE: Open the card base so it is flat, with the gold layer showing, to Die cut the front.

6. Close the card base and adhere the Die cut Cream Standard Circle LG inside the open circle onto the card base.  Open the card up to work on the next step.

7. Adhere the Happy Birthday Circle, centering onto the cream circle using liquid glue.

8. Glue a white circle into the centre of the Sentiment Circle.

9. Cut/emboss the Numbers using gold card stock. Glue to the centre of the Sentiment circle.

10. Adhere the Pink Rhinestone Circle to the sentiment centre.  Colour using Chameleon Pen PK3 Bubble Gum.

11. Adhere Silver Rhinestones to opposite corners and colour using  Chameleon Pen PK3 Bubble Gum.

10.  Cut/emboss the two smaller size Cinch and Go Flowers using white card stock.

11. Sponge the flower centres using purple ink and curl the leaves, layer using a clear dimensional.

12. Pop up onto the left corner of the card front, with a small Mulberry Paper rose either side of it.

13. Cut/emboss both Sprigs using green card stock, trim and adhere to the floral corners.

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by.  I am a little late posting today as I had a Workshop happening - such a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.  I will share a post with the cards we created within the next few days -  it is the weekend and we all love that!  Today I have a pretty card to share with you - using Spellbinders Dies along with some gorgeous Anna Griffin Inc paper and more.

The card front has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken cut/embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform and paper by Anna Griffin Inc.  This has been popped up onto green card stock using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment and tag are from Anna Griffin Inc. and have been layered onto the card front  using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

A border from the Shapeabilities Floral Lace Border Etched Dies Special Moments Collection by Marisa Job has been cut/embossed using white card stock and adhered onto the card front, at the base of the tag using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.   Want2Scrap Pink Pearls have  added along the Floral Lace Border and.to the top corners of the card front.  The butterfly is a hand made embellishment and has been glued to the lower left corner of the tag.
