Smile

Hello friends, today I am sharing a card created using a Penny Black Inc Collage image - I do love these stamps - colouring them - so easy and so pretty - we all have times when we need a quick card but want it to have that WOW factor - this is when collage images come into their own.

Fold 24cm x 12cm white card stock in half to form the card base. Cut/emboss Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Squares Etched Dies Romancing the Swirl Becca Feeken
 using Authentique Paper.

Stamp the image using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black Ink.  Colour the flowers using Chameleon Pens.  Add the coloured image to the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Using a Chameleon Pens.Blender Pen, go around the outside edges of the coloured image, allowing the Blender Pen to ‘blend’ in any areas that have gone over the lines.  This will add a soft ‘hue’ around your image.

Adhere a computer generated sentiment to the top left hand corner of the card front, using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  Adhere Want2Scrap Blue Rhinestones to each corner.

This card is linked to the following challenges:

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a second card from a set of cards created using Kaisercraft Collectibles from the Greenhouse Collection - it goes without saying that I just love these - they are in one of my favourite palettes, and are so pretty and easy to create with - and you have to love that!

If you have visited me here at all you will know I am a BIG FAN of the Collectibles -  I hope you are inspired to get out your papers and Collectibles and create something - just for fun.  I do love the fact that they are so versatile!

Patterned paper has ha a strip of contrasting paper adhered across the centre and has been cut/embossed using patterned paper and one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  Next it has been lightly sanded around the edges using a sanding block and  adhered to a slightly larger pre-cut Kraft card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

I have used a large Collectible as a focal point, popping it up onto straight onto the centre panel of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares; the sentiment has also been adhered on the right side of the image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Paper lace has been glued either side of the strip of patterned paper below the sentiment.  Faux Washi Tape has been added to adjacent corners.

Merry and Bright

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a Twist and Pop card using Karen Burniston Pop Up and Twist Dies along with Kaisercraft papers that are left over from some kits for a Getaway in a couple of weeks.  I do love blue for Christmas and monochromatic is perfect with the pop of red - very festive!

The card front has been cut/embossed using the image from the Kaisercraft patterned paper and one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Squares Etched Dies Romancing the Swirl Becca Feeken and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .

The Pop up sentiment is such a lovely surprise when the card is opened. The Kathryn Labels have been layered and is a pretty touch.

Little Loves - HB2U

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a card using one of the Spellbinders Little Loves Collection by Licensed Designer Sharyn Sowell.  Sharyn's Dies are always inspiring - the original being hand cut using scissors - an amazing skill in itself.  Sharyn is a very accomplished artist and you can read a little about her HERE.

I have a number of this image already Die Cut (I tend to do that) and decided it was time to use them, along with other bits and pieces lying on my desk.  The patterned paper has been cut into strips and layered onto recycled cardboard, cut to size using a Spellbinders Matting Die and lightly sanded.  This has been adhered to a pre-cut slightly larger white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Sheets 4 x6.

Emboss one Shapeabilities Baby's Garden Etched Dies Little Loves by Sharyn Sowell in patterned paper and one in white card stock and glue slightly to the left of the card front.  Adhere the patterned paper die cut to the white, leaving a little of the white die cut showing to give a shadow effect.  Glue the layered die cuts onto the middle of the card front.
Glue a strip aqua lace below the die cut images, next pop up a stamped sentiment onto the centre of the lace and glue a Little Birdie Crafts flower to the left of the sentiment.

Pop up the Kaisercraft sentiment sticker to the lower left side of the card base, across the pleated strip, using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Finish with a Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders to the lower portion of the card front.

Remembering Charlie - More than a Friend

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a layout created using Kaisercraft Antiquities Collection.  This is a very special layout to me, it is of our beautiful family dog, Charlie, who sadly is no longer with us - he was an amazing dog and needed to be captured in a layout.

The sentiments in the Kaisercraft Antiquities Collectibles are so beautiful and work perfectly with this layout- they express what is so hard o put into words at these times.

On Charlies last day we took some inky paw prints, we each one at least one.  I have included one on the layout, it has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Circles Etched Dies and sponged using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.

The word 'Charlie' has been die-cut using Karen Burniston Alphabet Die and teal card stock and adhered above the photo using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.
