It'a Almost Christmas - Naughty of Nice

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have been been part of an "It' Almost Christmas" GetawayWorkshop and am sharing one of the cards we made in my Workshops - a Twist and Pop card using Karen Burniston Pop Up and Twist Dies along with older Kaisercraft papers that are left over from some kits created for a Getaway we have just had this weekend.  I do love blue for Christmas and monochromatic is perfect with the pop of red - very festive!

The card front has been cut/embossed using the image from older Kaisercraft patterned paper and one of  the Spellbinders Matting Basic Dies, using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine .

The card front has been adhered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The Pop Up sentiment is such a lovely surprise when the card is opened. The Kathryn Labels have been layered and is a pretty touch.  I have used the Karen Burniston Katherine Label Pop Up for the inside label and Pop Up and Twist Mechanism. The beautiful red pearls are from Want2Scrap

You can find Karen's Video Tutorial HERE - it is so easy to follow.

Birthday Roses in Pink

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a Twist and Pop Up card using Karen Burniston Pop Up and Twist Dies along with patterned papers from publications.  The papers are such a pretty selection and I have tried to use every piece of them.

The card front has been created using two different papers and a strip of contrasting patterned paper across where the papers join.  Next it has been cut/embossed using one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The sentiment label is from Little Birdie Crafts and the Beautiful Border Swirls and pink pearls are from Want2Scrap.

The Pop up sentiment is such a lovely surprise when the card is opened. The largest Kathryn Labels have been layered with the third smallest Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies.  The sentiment is from a Penny Black Inc clear stamp set and has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  I have used the Karen Burniston Katherine Label Pop Up for the inside Pop Up and Twist Mechanism.  The embellished sentiment on the card front and the  flowers are from Little Birdie Crafts and the beautiful pink pearls are from Want2Scrap

You can find Karen's Video Tutorial HERE - it is so easy to follow.
