When we think of Spellbinders the first thing we seem to think is, without a doubt, Die Cutting - but as you soon discover there is so much more. One of the things I LOVE about the Dies is they are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways - did you ever think you can use them to create a stencil - let me show you how in this step by step tutorial.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam NOTE: Cut and emboss sandwiches for our Grand Calibur Machine are as follows:
cutting Sandwich (stack from bottom to up): 1. Spellbinders Base Plate A; 2. Junior Metal Shim; 3. Medium; 4. Die Template (cut ridges down); 5. Either Pink Embossing Plate or Raspberry Spacer Plate (depending on thickness of sandwich) NOTE: Do NOT use with Imperial Gold dies ? debossing designs will cut through. Do NOT use white cutting plate with the Junior Metal Shim.
2. Secure Die Cut Stencil over Whirl White cardstock using masking tape
3. Sponge in rows using Memento Inks and a sponge dauber
3. Remove Vertigo Stencil - rinse ink off.
4. Cut/emboss stenciled cardstock using A2 Modern Stationery #6 (#1 being the smallest)
5. Cut/emboss white cardstock previously folded in half, using A2 Modern Stationery #7 (#1 being the smallest)
6. Place score line inside the cutting edge of the base to form card base
7. Cut/emboss black cardstock using Birds on a Wire
8. Adhere Birds on a Wire to stenciled cardstock using liquid glue and trim excess from sides.
9. Stamp sentiment onto lower portion of card using Tuxedo Black
10 Pop stenciled layer onto card base using Crafty Foam Tape
11 Adhere random Baby Bling to stenciled layer - as shown in the main photo
Designer tip: Die Cut Stencils can be made from many recycled products using your favourite Dies - ever thought of using the Acetate from a shirt packet or box of chocolates?
