Good morning friends - thank you for dropping in - if this was IRL I would have a hot cuppa waiting for you! It is our first few days of summer and it has been wet! wet! wt! Not that I am complaining - the grass is so green and we definitely need the top up before the heat hits us - and it will!!
But in the meantime I have a fun card to share with you using the Spellbinders Die D-Lites Robots Etched Dies. I am thrilled with these dies - especially with a grandson to create cards and layouts for. I have cut/embossed the Robots using grey card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform. Once the Robot is removed I have lightly sanded it using a sanding block and highlighted the embossed areas - a favourite technique of mine!
The Shapeabilities Outlaw Etched Dies by Seth Apter has been cut/embossed using orange card stock. This has been adhered to a card front and card base cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies #7 (#1 being the smallest) The card front has been cut using light blue card stock using Labels Thirty-Eight #6
The Robot has been popped up into the layered card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares. A computer generated sentiment has been adhered to the top of the Outlaw Die and paint splatters in yellow and white randomly added.
The card is linked to the following challenges:
