Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by. My inspiration for this card was the weather - which is getting a lot cooler and it is time to bring out some extra quilts - I love handmade quilts, patchwork quilts - you name it and I probably love it LOL!
Cut
card stock 15cm x 15cm, cover using 1.5 Adhesive Sheets. Cut one
set of parallelograms using the Die D-Lites Tumbling Blocks Quilt Etched Dies Quilt Quilt It by Lene Lok and floral patterned paper. Start with the point in the
centre of the card stock and add the floral Die cuts. Cut one set of parallelograms from the Tumbling Blocks Quilt Etched Dies using white
card stock, adhere length ways around the floral Quilt Blocks - finish with a row of patterned Die cuts.
Layer
onto white card stock and cut around the hexagon to form card front. Cut a matching card back, score 1cm across
the top of the card back, add double sided tape. Adhere to the card front
making sure to line up the edges to form card base.
Add one large Brad to the centre - I got this one in a set from a $2 shop - such a great size - push through to the centre of the card base, where
the floral die cuts meet. Stamp one set of Cotton Reels from the Sew Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set and Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. Cut/emboss using the co-ordinating Die.and colour using Chameleon Pens.
Layer the die-cut image onto the lower portion of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares. Pop up a computer generated sentiment on the right side of the cotton reels, also using 3D Foam Squares
