Not All That Glistens is Gold

Hello friends - welcome and thanks so much for visiting.  Today I am sharing another card using one of the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Plates.  If you are like me and don't have a Foil Machine - you can still use the plates - not in the traditional way but definitely effectively - hopefully you are inspired by this card...you can find my first card using the foil plates differently HERE.

Place the Spellbinders Flower Pattern Glimmer Hot Foil Plate onto the Base Plate of the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine, with the pattern facing upwards; followed by red card stock, the tan mat and Embossing plate. Run through the machine.  

Sponge the embossed image using Imagine Memento Luxe Ink in Wedding Dress and a sponge dauber, followed by Rhubarb Stalk on the larger flowers and Pearl Tart on the leaves.  Stamp the sentiment from the Spellbinders Just for You Clear Stamps using Imagine Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves onto white card stock.  Cut/Emboss the sentiment using the third smallest die from the Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Circles Etched Dies.

Pop up onto a slightly larger pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L crafty foam tape. 

Add a strip of white seam Binding around the lower portion of the card front securing with a glue dot. Adhere a double sided seam binding now above the join.

 Glue a Little Birdie Crafts Wendy Moon Light flower onto the knot of the bow. and Beaded Blooms above.Trim swirls finesse and add each side of the flower.  Pop up the sentiment above the flowers using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.
