Flourishes Friday Free for All Blog Hop - Interactive Card

Hello Flourishes Friends! Welcome to the first Flourishes LC Free for All Blog Hop for December  - I hope you are ready for more inspiration today.  This week Rebecca has challenged us to create an 'interactive card' - are you intrigued?!?  I know I was!!  If you have come from Beverly's Blog you are in the right place, if not, please go to the Flourishes Blog and start from the beginning.

I have used the Year in Flower 2  illustrated by Beverly Cole.

I have stamped the Californian Poppy three times onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured them using Chameleon Art Pens. They have been fussy cut/ hand cut out and popped up on to layered Die cuts.  The sentiment has also been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink.  It has been trimmed and layered into green card stock and popped across the stems of the poppies.  The layered Dies are popped up onto embossed designer paper, followed by a pre-cut card base.  A twine bow and small button have been added to the left of the sentiment.

I have made the card 'interactive' by creating a pocket - to put a Gift Card or cash.  I have repeated the Californian Poppy and softly coloured it in the same tones as the front.  A sentiment from the Clover and Bees Stamp set has been added to the pocket using black ink.

Flourishes LC Friday Free for All Blog Hop - Non Traditional Colours

Hello Flourishes Friends! Welcome to another Flourishes LC November Challenge  - I hope you are ready for more inspiration today. Thank you for the lovely comments you make - each one was read and appreciated!  This week Beverley has challenged the Snr. Designers to use non traditional colours.

I don't know about you, but I have never seen a yellow Christmas Cactus - they may exist but nowhere near me.

I have stamped the image from the Flourishes LC Winter Blooms onto Flourishes LC Classic White card stock using VersaMark and white embossing powder - and of course used a heat tool.  It is then coloured using Chameleon Pens and popped up onto a layered precut card base.  The layers have been created using Swirl Bliss Corner Dies on each corner to create a frame, a circular frame has been adhere using double sided tape.

A double seam binding bow and vintage button has been added to the left side of the circle.

Be sure to visit the  designers' pages today, to see their cards.

Flourishes LC November New Release Blog Hop - Day 4 - Winter Blooms 2

Hello everyone - welcome to the 4th day of Flourishes November Blog Hop! If you came from Bev's Blog - you are in the right place. We have some absolutely fabulous stamp sets that we are excited to share with you!!  Today we are going to see our newest set called Winter Blooms 2 illustrated by Beverly Cole.

The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using 3D Foam Squares  onto Classic White card stock that has been die cut using the

Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die Set.

This has all been layered onto embossed teal card stock, that has been layered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base. The sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, trimmed, sponged and popped up on 3D Foam Squares for added dimension.  As much as I love to add details and embellishments, I felt this beautiful image was perfect without the extras - eye catching and definitely the 'star' of the card!  What do you think?
