Flourishes September New Release - Day 2

Hello everyone - welcome to Day 2 of  the Flourishes September Blog Hop!   If you came from Bev's Blog We have another fabulous  stamp set that we are excited to share with you!!  Today we are going to see another of our new sets called Bushels of Thanks illustrated by Beverly Cole.

There is so much potential with this set - I will let you in a on a little secret - my flowers are actually created using the cabbage - how cool is that!?  I have stamped the image onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured them using watercolour markers.  They have been cut out and popped up; using  3D Foam Squares onto a precut Die, 

The sentiment has also been stamped using black ink, cut around, backed with white cardstock and popped up using 3D Foam Squares.  Finishing off with a triple bow using the Flourishes Color Made Easy Buttercup Collection and a recycled button.  I decided to be a bit dramatic and layered it all onto black cardstock and added white pearls, that have been hand coloured to match the flowers using alcohol markers - I love it that we can do that!

Flourishes September New Release - Day 1

Hello everyone - welcome to Day 1 of Flourishes September Blog Hop! If you came from Bev's Blog - you are in the right place. We have some absolutely breathtaking stamp sets that we are excited to share with you!!  Today we are going to see our newest set called Fuji Mum illustrated by Beverly Cole.  We are also welcoming a new design Team member - Rebecca Ednie 

Such a pretty set with great sentiments to use with the images. 

I have stamped the image onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured them using watercolour markers.  They have been cut out and popped up; using  3D Foam Squares; onto a Die-cut,  The background layer has been embossed and sponged using white ink.

 The sentiment has also been stamped using black ink, cut around and also  popped up; using 3D Foam Squares.  Finishing off with a double bow and a pretty pink button to the side.

Enjoy Your Day

Hello friends, I hope you have had, or are having (depending where you are) a good weekend - mine has flown by way too quickly - especially with traveling to Sydney on Saturday to teach some Spellbinders Workshops - always fun!

I have a very quick card to share with you today - created using the Spellbinders Pierced Squares Die  - and yes, that is faux stitching you see on the pierced edges. 

I have also used the negative from Spellbinders Licensed Designer Seth Apter (of The Altered Page) Robo Squares. NOTE: The negative die is what is left when you have cut out your Die.  I used the newly released Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform - such a great machine - total convert here!!  I have finished off with a handmade embellishment - using Air dry Clay.

The embossed image is from my stash and has been coloured using Imagine Crafts Inks and a Sponge dauber.  As always I have used  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam Squares.  The sentiment is computer generated and the bling from Want2Scrap.

International Ambassadors Unofficial Fall Blog Hop

Hello everyone - it is time for this months International Ambassadors Unofficial Tag Blog Hop.  As always a BIG thank you to those who Hop along with us each month and leave such lovely comments - it means so much! Other : Imagine Crafts: Radiant Neons in Electric Yellow, Electric Orange and Electric Green, Sponge Daubers; Sentiment stickers; handmade recycled paper; button; twine

1. Adhere handmade paper to recycled cardboard using liquid glue - allow to dry.

2. Cut/emboss one (1) I'll Never Leaf You #3 and one (1)#1 (#1 being the smallest) from handmade paper.

3. Randomly stamp the Splatter Stamp over a precut card base using Yellow, Orange and Green ink.

4. Cut/emboss two (2) Woodland Wreath #2 (#1 being the smallest) using Kraft cardstock.

5. Overlap and adhere to the stamped cardbase.

6. Pop up Leaves to the top of the wreaths using 3D Foam Squares.

7. Tie Twine through the button, adhere to the leaf stems using liquid glue,

8. Adhere sentiment across the large leaf.

Here's to being Gorgeous

Hello friends, Monday evening here and I thought we deserved some humor - I love these Emerson Quillin ladies - I have a few of these stamps and every so often have to have my 'fix!'  Seems the older I get - the more I can relate!

For this card I have used Die-cuts that have been sitting in a pile for ages - and I do mean ages!!  I do love this Spellbinders Label Seventeen and it layers up beautifully - a great way to use those left over pieces that also seem to gather - continually!

The layers are popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  3D Foam Squares and has been coloured using Imagine Crafts Memento Markers and an Aqua Brush,  The bling is from Want2Scrap. d Dies

The flower from the Spellbinders Stacey Caron Holiday Christmas Dove Frame has been cut/embossed twice, using red cardstock and sponged using Imagine Crafts Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.  A 3D Foam Square has been used between the flowers to give them extra dimension.  Finishing off with a recycled Gold Button.

Spellbinders Art Nouveau Tutorial

Hello friends, I have a tutorial for Spellbinders to share with you - using some of the newly released Art Nouveau Dies by Licensed Designer Stacey Caron - what is not to love about these Dies!?  I know you will love how easy it is to create using them definitely a WOW Factor!!

Spellbinders Products:

• S4-660 Waterlilies Decorative Elements
• SES-007 Em-bossing Fold'ers Floral 4.25 x 5.5 in Single Sided
• PL-001 Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine

Other:

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; Want2Scrap: 72 Count - pink rhinestones - self adhesive; Imagine Crafts: Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves, Sponge dauber; handmade Resin flower; Anna Griffin Inc: Pennant; light green cardstock

1. Cut.emboss one (1) Art Nouveau Waterlilies Decorative Elements #2 #3 (#1 being the smallest) using cream cardstock.

2. Using the die as a Stencil, sponging inside the Die using Bamboo Leaves and a Sponge Dauber.

3. Remove from the Die.

4. Using a Brayer - apply ink to the Floral Folder - pattern side up.

5. Place ink side down onto white cardstock and use the brayer to make sure every area is covered,

6. Cut inked cardstock to size 8cm x 11cm

7. Adhere the inked cardstock to the Waterlilies Decorative Elements #3, tucking the top and bottom under the 'waterlily'.

8. Adhere the waterlilies #2 to the layers using 3D Foam Squares.

9. Adhere Pennant to the smaller layer using double sided tape.

10.Adhere handmade embellishment using liquid glue.

11. Stamp sentiment using black ink.

12. Trim and adhere across the pennant using 3D Foam Squares.

13. Adhere bling as shown in the main photo.

A Day of Joy

Hello Flourishes Friends! Welcome to another Flourishes LC September Challenge  - I hope you enjoyed the projects that were shared last week - and are ready for more inspiration today. Thank you for the lovely comments you made - each one was read and appreciated!  This week Naomi has challenged us to add some sparkle on our cards - i love a little bit of sparkle - how about you!!  If you have come from Beverly's Blog you are in the right place.

I stamped the  image onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured the background using watercolour markers. Kindy Glitz/Liquid Glitter has been lightly added to the ripples on the water, to add some shimmer. This has then been cut out using a rectangle Die, which has been used as a stencil before removing the card stock, by sponging using light blue ink and a sponge dauber.  

The rectangle has then been popped up; using  3D Foam Squares; onto black cardstock,  The sentiment has also been stamped using black ink and the cardstock has been hand-cut into a pennant. Twine has been threaded through each end, then it has been popped up on 3D Foam Squares. 

A strip of embossed cardstock has been torn and adhered across the center of a diecut filigree frame using double sided tape and the layered image has been popped up on 3D Foam Squares in the center of the card.  Silver rhinestones have added an extra 'sparkle' on the corners of the filigree frame.
