Kaleidoscope Memories

Hello friends - it is Saturday evening here and I have had a little time to play in The Studio -' just because' - I love these times because I can use some of the things I have put aside to use one day...and then they become UFOs - unfinished objects - you know what I mean - or is it just me?!? LOL!

I have used the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Geo Steps Kaleidoscope by Lene Lok Etched Dies as my starting place.  It has been cut/embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and glued onto some patterned paper using liquid glue.  The patterned paper has been trimmed using scissors.  This in turn has been adhered to a card front, using Graphic 45 paper.

A row of lace has been adhered along the join of the patterned papers and a flower from Kaisercraft popped up on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to the centre of the patterned paper panels.  I have added a light touch of blue to the centre of the flower - using Imagine Memento Ink in Summer Sky.    72 Count - White Pearls have been adhered along the lace trim - wither side of the flower.

A double seam binding bow has been glued to the left of the flower and a handmade embellishment glued to the centre of the bow,  The Kaisercraft sentiment has been popped up onto the bottom right hand corner of the card.

Hello friends,  I am sharing a card today using one of the newly released Spellbinders stamp and die sets by Licensed Designer Stephanie Low.  I love these co-ordinating sets and find them totally addictive!!  I love the movement this dandelion has....

Stamp the Dandelion Stamp and Die Set from the Earth Air Water Collection by Stephanie Low  onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  Cut/emboss using co-ordinating Dies. Colour the images using Chameleon Pens.

Cut/emboss light green card stock using A2 Matting Basics A, making sure the fold is inside the cutting edge of the Die to form card base. Cut/emboss the patterned paper using Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca FeekenLightly sand around the edges with a sanding block.  Pop the card front onto the card base using 3D Foam Squares.

Cut one Nestabilities Heart & Home Circle Delight Etched Dies using white card stock, Cut the Die in half and adhere the right hand Die Cut to the card front using double sided tape.  Pop up the  dandelion onto the Circle Delight, using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares  along with three 'flowerettes' using liquid glue.

Adhere the computer generated sentiment below the Dandelion and add  72 Count - Sage Pearls around the Circle Delight and to each corner - as shown in the photo.  Lightly add some Kindy Glitz/liquid glitter to the Dandelion ends and wrap green twine around the layered card front two times, securing with a bow.  Glue a metal heart embellishment to the centre of the bow.

Out of this World Dr Who Style

Hello friends - any Dr Who fans out there?  The first thing I thought of when I saw this Phone Box stamp by Stampin' Up! was Dr Who - I have a son who is an avid fan and keeps us updated on that is happening with the Dr.

I stamped the image onto glossy card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Danube Blue and fussy cut/hand cut using scissors it out.

The background is embossed using the Spellbinders Seth Apter Em-bossing Fold'ers Lazer Beams 5 x 7 and the Platinum .  The embossed layer has been randomly sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon Inks and a sponge dauber.  The 'Tardis' has been popped up onto the centre of the embossed layer using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.   Kindy Glitz/Liquid Glitter has been added to each lazer beam.

The embossed card front has been layered onto a pre-cut card base, with a strip of embossed navy card stock added along the right side - liquid glitter has been added to the lazer beams.  Stenciled dots have been randomly added and finishing off with a computer generated sentiment.

Torn corrugated card has been adhere across the middle of the card front and the stamped image has been popped up across the lower portion - on an angle - using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares

The stamped and inked strip has been added to an embossed layer using Spellbinders Em-bossing Fold'ers Grid 4.25 x 5.5 in Single Sided and popped up onto a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  A strip of recycled corrugated cardboard has been adhered along the image strip and sponged using brown ink,  The computer sentiment has been adhere
