Penny Black Inc - Today

Hello friends, thanks for calling in.  My card today has been created using a cling stamp from Penny Black Inc. - you can find it here.  I have stamped the image onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured using Chameleon Art Products/Pens - I love the way these pens give such a great variation of colour in the one pen - especially on a background like this.

The image has been cut/embossed using the outer frame from the Card Creator Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and the largest insert from the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken, using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  The card front has been popped up onto the pre-cut card base, using Crafty Foam Tape.

The sentiment from the Penny Black Inc. birthday love transparent stamp set has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and cut/embossed using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies.  The Die has been used as a stencil, sponged with Imagine Memento Ink in Angel Pink and a sponge dauber.

The Shapeabilities Corner Floral Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell have been cut using white card stock using the flower Die and the base Flower Die has been used to cut/emboss pink card stock. - NOTE: I have slipped in a little bit of green card stock beneath the leaves.The two layers have been glued together and popped up onto the top left corner of the sentiment. 

I have added pink seam binding across the card front and added a double seam binding bow to the lower right hand corner of the sentiment.

Spellbinders Rosemal Flower - Folk Art Tutorial

Hello friends - thank you for stopping by! Today I have a tutorial to share for Spellbinders - sharing a little sneak peek at one of the new Folk Art Collection by Lene Lok.  This set is made up one 

  intricate scrollwork design for a beautiful focal piece or die-cut many for a background design.  In this case I have used it as a focal piece.

'Folk Art Collection by Lene Lok is inspired by Norwegian folk art with its flower designs featuring scrollwork and flowing lines to create flowing patterns. Bring these whimsical elements into your next projects'- Spellbinders

1. Cut/emboss black card stock using the Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies #5#6.  Place #3 in the centre of the black card stock - this will emboss only.  Run through the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

2. Using a White Gel Pen to draw around the pierced lines to create faux stitching.

3. Cut/emboss one  Rosemal Flowers using white card stock.

4. Colour using Chameleon Pens - changing the colour with each section.

5. Use White Gel Pen to add extra details.

6.Glue to the centre of the card front.

7.Pop up onto a white pre-cut card base using 3D Foam Squares.

8. Adhere 3 white pearls - large, medium and small to each corner.

Spellbinders -Geo Dots - Enjoy Your Day

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by! It is Sunday here in the Nations Capital and we are experiencing a HEATWAVE, along with many other regions in Australia.  I did manage a bit of time in The Studio and have a very quick and easy card to create - using Spellbinders Geo Dots Stamps Cool Vibes by Stephanie Low - it is perfect as a background or as the focal point on a card.

I have randomly inked the stamp using Tool 'n One with the Foam Applicator - Circle for Tool 'n One

and Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal and Angel Pink, along with Memento Luxe Rose Bud ink.  Once dry this has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies #6  (#1 being the smallest) and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  The card front has been popped up onto the card base that  has been cut/embossed using the larger die (#7) using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam Tape.

Want2Scrap Black Baby Bling has been randomly added to the card front and a computer generated sentiment, trimmed to size and adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Permanent Adhesive.

Penny Black Inc - Bee-u-tiful

Hello friends, thanks so much for visiting.  It is always nice to have  little change of pace - and you could not get much more whimsical thank this bee - I am sure you would agree! 

The bee is from Penny Black Inc. - you can find the whole set here -  cute as a bug! clear stamp set.  I have stamped the image onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Chameleon Art Products/Pens - I love the way these pens give such a great variation of colour in the one pen - so quick and easy!

The image has been cut/embossed using A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies and the  Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  A negative Die from the Curved Matting Basics B has been adhered over the image to create a frame.  The card front has been popped up onto the pre-cut card base, using Crafty Foam Tape.

Cut/emboss four small corners from the Shapeabilities Opulent Flourish Accents Rouge Royale by Stacey Caron Etched Dies using yellow card stock.  Adhere one to each corner using liquid glue.  The sentiment from the happy snippets transparent stamp set has been stamped using Imagine Memento Inks in Tuxedo Black and cut/embossed using the Shapeabilities Opulent Flourish Accents Rouge Royale by Stacey Caron Etched Dies.  The Die has been used as a stencil, sponging inside the cutting edges using Dandelion ink and a Sponge Dauber.  Pop this up onto the card front using 3D Foam Squares.

Add a yellow Seam Binding bow to the top of the card and a crochet flower to the centre of the bow.

Spellbinders Pretty Handmade - Make Pretty Things

Hello friends -thanks for stopping by today! I don't know about you but I always look forward to seeing what is new with companies and this year is no different.  I am loving the new Spellbinders products and have been playing with some of the Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low.  Perfect stamps and Dies for any creative person - definitely not limited to paper addicts! Wink:wink!!

I have stamped the Pretty Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set using Imagine Memento Inks in Tuxedo Black and Teal Zeal.  They have been coloured using Chameleon Pens and cut/embossed using the co-ordinating dies and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. 

Next I have cut/embossed the Shapeabilities Seth Apter Drip Dry Etched Dies twice, once in orange and one in yellow. The yellow die has been adhered slightly offset onto the orange die - to create a shadow effect.  This has been glued to a card front that has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies and been lightly sanded using a sanding block.

The sentiment has also been Die cut and popped up into the card front.  The card front is popped up onto card base that has also been cut using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies.  I have used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to add dimension to each layer.

Spellbinders Robots - How Old?!?

Hello friends - thank you for dropping in! I have a fun card to share with you using the new Spellbinders Die D-Lites Robots Etched Dies.  I am thrilled with these dies - especially with a grandson to create cards and layouts for.

  I have cut/embossed the Robots using grey card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  Once the Robot is removed I have lightly sanded it using a sanding block and highlighted the embossed areas - a favourite technique of mine, white highlights were also added! 

The Shapeabilities Outlaw Etched Dies by Seth Apter has been cut/embossed using striped card stock.  This has been adhered to a card front and blue card base cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the centre sponged using light blue ink. The card front has also been cut using white card stock using Pierced Rectangles.

The Robot has been popped up into the layered card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  A computer generated sentiment has been adhered to the right of the Robot and paint splatters in yellow and white randomly added.

Spellbinders - Some Bunny...

Hello friends - thank you for stopping by!  It is Tuesday evening for me and I have been enjoying family time along with time in The Studio.  Once again I have been playing with a few of my Spellbinders products (no surprises there! Wink:wink!) 

 I have stamped the gorgeous rabbit from the Bunny Stamp and Die Set from the Spring Love Collection by Stephanie Low using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.The rabbit has been coloured using Chameleon  Pens - another favourite product - and cut/embossed using the co-ordinating die and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Cut/emboss one Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken

 #3 #4 (#1 being the smallest) using white card stock - layer onto slightly larger black card stock.  Cut/emboss one  Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken #5 #6 using patterned paper.  Pop up onto a pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Crafty Foam Tape.   Add a row of yellow lace across the lower portion of the card front.

Pop up the rabbit onto the smaller Hemstitch Rectangles,popping up onto the layered card front.  Add a row of yellow lace across the smaller Hemstitch Rectangle. Glue a double Seam Binding bow to the left of the Die but image, adding a button to the know, glue a Want2Scrap large white pearl to the centre of the button.
