Layers, Flowers and Beautiful Wishes

Hello friends, thank you for visiting today!  I have created an elegant card today -perhaps a little shabby using layers of  Spellbinders Dies and beautiful products from Little Birdie Crafts - their range is gorgeous - and the flowers - divine!  I have always loved flowers and all they add to a card.

The card front has been created by cutting and embossing the Shapeabilities Annabelle's Trousseau Layering Frame Medium Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken #4 (#1being the smallest) using white card stock using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform. Pop up onto the pre-cut pink card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Next, cut/emboss patterned paper using Nestabilities Breanna's Corset Label Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken #4 (#1 being the smallest) and pop up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Adhere one cut/embossed Swirls Frame from the Shapeabilities Annabelle's Trousseau Layering Frame Medium Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken to the layered card front also using 3D Foam Squares.  The Crafty Secrets image has been cut/embossed using the Nestabilities Breanna's Corset Label Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken and popped up across the layered Dies, followed by the Swirl Frame that has been cut across the centre and popped up under the image on the card front.

The Little Birdie Crafts Flower is from the Paula Pastel Palette  has been glued onto the top of the layered image using liquid glue, along with a flower from the Mattina Pastel Palette each side of the large flower.

The Little Birdie Crafts Royal Fern Chipboard Embellishment has been trimmed and a stem adhered each side of the flower.  The Chipboard is primed when you purchase it and already has a whitewash look - perfect!   The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets and has been trimmed and adhered under the flowers.

A double white Seam Binding Bow has been adhered to the base of the Die-Cut image using liquid glue and a small button glued to the centre.  This has been finished off using a Want2Scrap Medium White Pearl,

Penny Black - Not So Blue Birthday

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by - I always love to know you have visited.  Today I an sharing a floral card created using one of the gorgeous Penny Black Inc. stamp sets and Chameleon Color Top Pens - not the usual colour flower but I am really loving the palette - it is so easily achieved using the Color Tops - and of course I have used Spellbinders Dies.

The card front has been cut/embossed using the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken #5 #6 (#1 being the smallest)  and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and popped up onto the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The Penny Black Incfloral applique has been stamped onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. and has been coloured using Chameleon Pens along with the Chameleon Color Tops - such incredible pens and the Color Tops take them to a whole new level.

The floral applique has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and popped up onto a Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Forty Six Etched Die using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and then onto the card front.

The sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Giving Occasions Stamp and Die Set has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, trimmed and a dove tail added to the right hand end.  Next it has been popped up on the right side of the card (as shown in the main photo).

A double teal bow has been adhere adhered to the bottom left of the layered flower.  Finishing with Want2Scrap bling added under the sentiment.

Spellbinders Fun Door Sign Tutorial

Hello friends - thanks for stopping by - today I have a tutorial for Spellbinders to share with you using some of the fabulous Die D-Lites to create a door sign for our grandson.  It is one of those projects you see in a shop and think - I can make that - well I did and had everything I needed - you have to love that!!

The Die D-lites are such a great size for this kind of project and so many different ones to choose from.

1. Paint the sign using blue paint.
2. Tear varying shades of green card stock and adhere to the sign using liquid glue.
3. Add smaller strips of kraft card stock near the base of the sign and glue to the sign to form roads.
4. Cut/emboss the three Dies from the Tractors Die D-Lites and yellow card stock.
5. Use the Die as a stencil and sponge inside the cutting edges using Electric Orange ink and the wheels using Golden Glitz.
6. Adhere the Diggers/Tractors using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Extreme Double Sided Tape.
7. Draw around each window using a Black pen
8. Add some Glossy Accents to each window and allow to dry.
9. Cut/emboss two clouds from the Rise 'n Shine Etched Dies using white card stock.
10. Adhere above the hills using Extreme Double Sided Tape.
11. Add some white stars and some sponging using white paint.
12. Cut/emboss the name for the sign using the Alphabet Etched Dies and Black Card Stock.
13. Adhere to the top right side of the sign.
14. Adhere fine granite/gravel to the diggers and randomly along the path.
15. Spray with Satin Sealer

Recycled Thinking of You

Hi there thanks so much for stopping by. I am sharing a 'dreaded man card' with a slight mixed media influence today.  So many people find then hard to create but I have found an easy way!! I have used an image had saved from TYPO - their shopping bags are fabulous and I love reusing them - especially for masculine cards - this one makes me laugh and I stantly knew what the sentiment was going to be. I might add at this point - I have quite a number of these bags and look forward to using the images in different ways - they are very kool! ;)

The  background has been kept simple, using a maroon card base with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Creative Photo Corners Gold added to the right hand corners.  A Strip of patterned paper has been popped up onto slightly larger white card stock and adhered to the left side of the card base.

The image has had colour added around the outer areas using using Chameleon Pens.  I have used a White Gel Pen on the Skeleton to add extra highlights. This has been sponged around the edges using Imagine Memento Ink in Rhubarb Stalk and popped up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment has been computer generated and popped up onto slightly larger black card stock and adhered to the top portion of the skull - an obvious choice - don't you think!?  Splatters of white have been added using Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress.

Thinking of You

I am a little excited as I am using new line of products that has trickled into Australia but is here BIG time now - Little Birdie Crafts - their range is gorgeous - and the flowers - divine.  I have always loved flowers and all they add to a card - the more the merrier I say! Wink:Wink!

The card base has been created by cutting and embossing two (2) Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies #7 (#1 being the smallest) and pink card stock using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  Score one Rectangle at 1cm and fold forward, add strong tape to the folded forward piece and adhere the second Rectangle, making sure to line up the edges - to form the card base.

Cut/emboss patterned paper using Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies #6 (#1 being the smallest) and pop up onto the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Pop up the Crafty Secrets image also using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L .

The Little Birdie Crafts Flower is from the Vincy Ceram Collection and has been glued onto a double pink Seam Binding Bow, using liquid Glue.  The Little Birdie Crafts Royal Fern Chipboard Embellishment has been trimmed and a stem adhered each side of the flower.

Upcycled - Sweet Celebrations

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a very quick upcycled card to share with you today - it all started with a Winnie the Pooh image on a piece of paper - who does not love Winnie the Pooh - he just had to be given a second chance! Wink:Wink!

I have popped up the image into a negative Die from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Seth Apter Drip Dry Etched DiesThis has been trimmed and adhered to a slightly larger piece of orange card stock.  Thin strips of inked and embossed card stock have been adhered across the image - approx 2.5 cm apart.  A sentiment (from my stash) has been popped up across the lower portion of the image using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L.

The balloon and sentiment have been cut/embossed using the Die D-Lites Celebrate Etched Dies and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  The balloon and string have been adhered to the right of the sentiment banner; the Die Cut sentiment has been adhered to the lower portion of the card front.  The balloon has been coated using a clear gloss and Little Birdie  Crafts Dazzle Cocktail Tequila Sunrise for some added shimmer.
