LOC New Release Sneak Peek No.1

I am excited to be sharing with you the first SNEAK PEEK from the Layers of Color New Releases - now Laura is doing something very different this time - not that we don't love the stamps - we do don't we!! This New release is all about Art Stencils - how cool is that! I have had so much fun using them, It is my first time, so has been a real discovery time for me. I have inked, sprayed, embossed, paper pierced - made cards, done layouts and Altered Art and am going to be showing some of them to you over the next little while!

The first one I am 'sneaking' you (LOL) is the Bella Brocade Stencil

I had a lot of fun inking it with Tim Holtz Distressing Inks, both on the DP and the flower below

I love the effect of a lighter colour and adding highlights with a darker one

it all adds so much elegance to a layout - I love the romantic feel that this layout has taken on!
