SSIC Happy Birthday Kathy & An Award

Today it is Kathy's birthday, and we at Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenges are throwing her a virtual birthday party, each of us is going to bring something special - some of  Kathy's favourite things infact!  You will see what I am bringing further down this post....but in the meantime.....

This card just seemed to scream party - look at those gorgeous bears and who can resist the gift they are bringing!!

 So naturally, I am bringing some yummy lollies from New Zealand - I could not resist bringing a few of my childhood favourites back from my trip home, with me, just for my DH and the kids to try - there was another packet BUT I forgot and we 'took no survivors' when we opened them - LOL!  Sorry girls!! So quick, check them out while they are still here....I even threw some handmade streamers into the 'mix' for fun!

I also thought I would treat Kathy to a ride on Wellington's Cable Car - a must see for any visitor to New Zealand's capital City.  From the top you get beautiful views of Wellington Harbour and you are only meters away from the beautiful stroll through the Botanical Gardens - a divine way to spend a day!  This photo was taken by my DD2 who came with me, it looks like a postcard doesn't it!!

While we are in the Party mood - I had reason to celebrate, I got the loveliest surprise to receive a very different (and fun) award from one talented crafter - Crafty Dawn - it is the 'Creative Writer' Award - thank you so much Dawn for thinking of me, I am honoured as I find YOU so inspiring!!  Thank you my friend!

The rules for this Award are quite different and difficult. You have to tell 6 lies and one truth!  LOL!  Imagine that - and on the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Birthday Blog Hop!  LOL! So here are my facts - I am interested to know if you can pick the TRUTH from the LIES!!

 * I am an American citizen
* I am single
* I have to be forced to make cards or projects
* I won a colouring competition when I was 10 yrs old
* I have fourteen children
* I don't drink coffee
* I am a quiet natured person

So, how well do you think you know me -  which one it the TRUTH, there is only one truth here and the rest - BIG FAT LIES!!  LOL!  I also have to award this to 7 other people and let them know
