I thought it was time to get out a stamp set I have been wanting to use for some time - this gorgeous Grand Damask set designed by my dear friend, the amazing Nina Brackett for Gina K Designs.
Isn't it perfectly named! I love the grandeur of it and could not resist playing along with the Card Patterns Challenge this week.
I have layered my image into the Lacy Circles Nestbilitie that has been cut out with my Spellbinders Grand Calibur - I don't know what I did before I owned one of these amazing DieCutting Machines - it is so easy and the lines so crisp!
I have stamped using a Stampin' Up Kaleidacolor Ink Pad in blues - I love the effect and will be playing with it more often
The flowers have been coloured using the ink from My Tim Holtz Distressing Ink - Scattered Straw - I love the way you can make flowers to natch your DP - nice and easy!! I have finished off with some vintage lace and a row of ricrac as a contrast
This card is also for the following Challenges:
Card Cupids - Use 2 Colors Only
Mami Doodles - Use a Punch or a DieCut
Thank you for stopping my today - it is always great to have visitors - I do appreciate the lovely comments you leave me - they are so encouraging and always make my day! God bless you!

ReplyDeleteLove this one - you have 'staged' the grand damask image beautifully. Love the hint of a floursich in behind in the same blues.
