Hello Blog Friends, I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to an even better 2014 - which is literally only days away!
I have been pottering in the Studio and trying to finish cards I have started along the way but for one reason or another, they have not been finished - I love the feeling of making the UFO (unfinished objects) pile smaller.
For this card I have used the Faux Letterpress Technique with the Lovely Lattice Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder and IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink in Rhubarb Stalk. You can see my tutorial for this technique HERE.
The sentiment is from SRM Stickers, the lace is from a RAK from a very dear friend and the roses are from my stash - they are my absolute favourites, with that little touch of pale pink in the center. I have also used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ - E-Z Adhesive Runner

Lovely seems to be an appropriate word. The faux letterpress really pops any background. Mommy used to wear her long hair tied in a bow like that. Thank you for sharing this beautiful art with us at Word Art Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you as we prepare for 2014,

Beautifully done Linda, seems that I can't buy the Memento Luxe ink anywhere at the moment, just love that colour, Rhubarb Stalk.

This is gorgeous Linda - love the drama of the silhouette image against that rich background - never mind that luscious lace and the beautiful roses.
